Well, as you all know, I've started Menoth. I know own a Castigator, Kreoss and Feora. I was looking at Reznik, and, the model was awesome, so is the fluff...but, I don't own Legends, and wanna know if he's worth it? So, what does he do, is worth his points, what units is he good with?
If you like 'Jacks, Reznik is the man for you. He is simply a 'Jack 'caster that can mix it up when the need arises, so try to get troops that support them and can work off their own command score. When the Bastions release they'd be a great addition to a Reznik force, due to the same base size he can be screened easily.
Reznik offers very little in a non-'Jack dominated force, so if your army is running the typical Menoth type of large amounts of troops he won't run so well. But you are new, so a 'Jack force could be cool and you already have the Castigator, one of Reznik's best friends.
I have had fun running him with two Devouts and a castigator. There is a lot he can do with that setup. He is a Jack-caster but that is no reason to shelve your Zealots. If you run him make sure you bring some wraks, cause wraking folks never getts old and if done right you can cause all sorts of cc chaos.
