I have. It's awesome.
I'm pretty jealous of it from my Cygnar hat, and I can see similarities to almost everyone else too, but I think it's still enough it's own thing that I don't hate them.

I read through it. They look pretty good, though the aesthetic for some of their 'jacks is just terrible--those bunny-ear arc nodes on the phoenix, in particular, are horrendous.
Personally, I like the idea of the Mage Hunter army--with their attachment, the Mage Hunter Strike Forces are kinda scary. Stealth, Pathfinder, Advanced Deploy, and Phantom Seeker gives them a lot of options, and the one female caster (Kaelyssa, maybe? I can't remember all their names) lets you take as many mage hunter strike forces and attachments as you want.
I also liked the idea of the battle-mage army, but those gloves are just too goofy, and the battle-mage caster, (Rayne? Rahn?) Is pretty lousy. Good feat, but not really a good caster, overall.
Anyway, I think it's a worthwhile edition. I certainly like the direction they've been going with things in Mk II--the idea of themed armies in particular is great.
I have some Cygnar and some Khador, but I don't play much right now. I'd like to try to start back up, now that Mark II is out, but I am going to wait and see what the theme lists for Cygnar and Khador end up being. A good gun-mage, man-o-war, cavalry, or storm army might beat out the mage-hunter army.
Once again, the conservative, sandwich-heavy portfolio pays off for the hungry investor!
I love the themed army idea and I'm currently budgeting for a Tier 4 Ravyn army; I quite like her rules even if she doesn't look like the easiest caster to use. Not much in the way of detailed analysis but as for the Myrmidon aesthetic, its kinda grown on me...
The theme idea is cool, but I think this army lends itself to themes already. There are three pretty clear factions already in the Dawnguard, Mage Hunters, and mages, and a fourth if you add Houseguard. The warcasters all fall into one of those three categories, although three of them are clearly Mage Hunters.
I'm still pretty hung up on the Myrmidon sculpts. I've gotten to a point where I would buy and paint them if I had to but I don't think I'm ever going to like them.
these conversions. I may get into the Retribution yet
so much hate on the Retribution jacks . I personally love them to bits especially the Hydra, that's one though cookie. Just finished reading the entire book and glad I bought Kaelyssa she is both fluff and rule wise a cool model to play with I think. Off Course I'm still a total warmachine noob but from what I know Retribution has some really nasty stuff and tricks they can pull out of their pointy ears.
