I just read through the fieldtest rules on the train. I actually didn't know how to play Hordes before that so it was an interesting read. I assume the rules won't change much between the fieldtest and the official MkII.
I've only just started digging through the new cards. I've spent most of my time with the Trolls since they're the only faction that much interests me. They seem to be pretty hard hitting and straight forward with several cool units to buff them. I'm still trying to get a handle on their warlocks' abilities.
I'm playing in a MkII tournament next weekend and the organizer is expecting a lot of Hordes players to show up so I might have some more thoughts then.
I've noticed on my brief read through of Circle that not much has changed. Some balancing of abilities and some minor tweaks have changed some things, but in all it still seems like the same faction. Wolf Riders caught the nerf bat in the face tho
Speaking for myself, I've always been more interested in Warmachine; though I do dabble with the Circle Orboros a little. I've looked at the field test documents but I've yet to actually play any games with the Mk II stuff, so I'm yet to form any real opinions of things.
I should hopefully get to throw down a couple of games tomorrow - I'm really looking forward to trying out Morvahna and Epic Kaya, among other things.
