Just looking for some clarification on the working of the excarnate spell. The spell states that if you kill a living model with excarnate, you can place an undead model in a unit within the caster's control range and within 3" of this model. If you were arcing the spell through an arc node, would the 3" placing of the new model be operating around the arc node as that is the point of origin of the spell being cast or within 3" of the caster, as they are the one casting the spell.
