    500pt Cygnar Idea's

I took the liberty of downloading the AoI software and creating a 500pt list. I'm curious what you think of it, is it viable, would it do well? I've no idea what any of this stuff does or how many of each thing I'm getting except for the Mechaniks, so any further insight would be appreciated.

    Army: 1st Try
    Faction: Cygnar
    Army Points: 497/500
    Victory Points: 18

    Major Markus 'Siege' Brisbane
    Centurion
    Captain Maxwell Finn
    Stormsmith
    Arcane Tempest Gun Mages
    Field Mechaniks (4)
    Stormblades
    Stormblade Officer and Standard Bearer
    Trencher Chain Gun Crew

And a second list that I just made, cause I like Warjacks and wanted more...

    Army: 2nd Try
    Faction: Cygnar
    Army Points: 495/500
    Victory Points: 17

    Commander Coleman Stryker
    Ironclad
    Charger
    Lancer
    Captain Maxwell Finn
    Arcane Tempest Gun Mages
    Sword Knights (6)

I think you may have a hard time fueling all 3 Warjacks With focus points using Stryker

But if you want to sling some nasty spells, using teh Lancers and still give beatdowns with teh Ironclad I'd take Haley instead of Stryker, she has more focus and lots of really nasty spells.

    *Fiddles with AoI*

I think that maybe try dropping the charger in favor of more troops, this will leave lots of focus for teh Ironclad and Spells, I figure with Haley supporting teh Ironclad through the Lancer they could hold thier own.

Heres something I came up with, don't know exactly how good it is, but Its something to consider...

    Army Points: 499/500
    Victory Points: 16

    Captain Victoria Haley
    Ironclad
    Lancer
    Captain Maxwell Finn
    Long Gunners (10)
    Stormblades
    Stormblade Officer and Standard Bearer

I dunno, gotta get Montford back in here...

Hey guys, glad to see that warmachine is picking up around here.

I would say if you want to field Finn you should to take trenchers. Finn is a solo designed to boost the abilities of a trencher unit. A buffed up trencher unit with Finn and the Unit Attachment is quite effective IMHO. In other words, using Finn without trenchers is not using him to his full potential.

If you have not already, I would suggest reading some of the articles at [URL="http://battlecollege.com"]
This resource really helped me to get a general idea of the strengths and weaknesses of most of the units in the game. Hope that this helps

I like your second army. Has power and flexibility.

One thing that jumped out at me was that neither list had Jr.(journyman warcaster) in it. He's pretty much a given in most armies because of his cheap cost and being a AS(arcane sheild) battery. Also in a pinch you can give him a jack, so your warcaster has more focus free for other things.

I've never been a fan of ATGM's i like longgunners, more range, shots and damage potential. Siege and longgunners go well in hand with the tower of power you can do with them.

Same thing goes with Stryker, why have a unit sniped with a 18inch range and one shot each when you can have a unit with 20inch range and 2 shots each?

The Centurion is IMO the best cygnar jack available to us, its armor is just beefy with AS on it. If you want an all jack army perhaps look into getting darius, he is by far our best jack caster.
