Wicked. Sounds like its going to be a real good challenge! If neither of you to complete your armies do you both have to buy me a meal? Sounds only fair! Are you having a theme for the army? Checks, Goth Rockers or somthing? Dan |

![]() Currently there is no real theme, but I do like the Goffs. They're foot sloggers, so that's my clan. I will see what happens with time. For instance, I have an Imperial Leman Russ that needs Orkifying. I have never been one for conversions, so this will be a large challenge for me. I have no idea how to work with such a large piece of kit. Oh, and I'm gonna need a new case. =/ Kuffy

When I first started out selling figures I did it on Ebay. To be quite honest I don't really care for Ebay but it is a good place to get started. Quality usually speaks for itself - I would put "painted" in the title but usually "pro-painted" etc... is something that someone without talent is hoping to catch your attention. Pictures are everything. Personally I wouldn't let a single figure go for much less than $25. It is true that for the most part you won't make a huge profit when considering time vs. money but it could very well compensate your hobby. I have tried listing at a penny and then having a reserve, but found that it is best to just list it right around the price you want (look at the price breaks where the listing fee changes). If you want to start lowish in $ you can always put a buy it now up for what you really want for it - It is a small cost that could pay off nicely for you. I don't do much e-bay now as I am usually doing a project for someone. But single figures are a good way to go. Another thing would be to establish a personal website for yourself and offer commission and/or figures for sale on your website. don't expect to get rich unless you discover you are phenomonally talented and have a huge fan base - but you are definitely at a level where you can pay for your hobby and still have some pocket money as well. Good luck on your sales and also wanted to say you have some nice looking figures you have been posting lately! Don't get a chance to view them much as my work blocks photobucket and image shack but every now and then I get time at home to peruse! Cheers, -Mike

Umm...yeah. I haven't been that good this week. Due to a house mate bringing home the Call of Duty Expansion: United Offensive, we have had a number of games for many hours. It's fun. =D However, the last few days I have been assembling my first Ork mobs. I have 25 Orks assembled, I also have the Black Reach boxed set, so have more for afterwards. I will win damnit!! Happy birthday to me!! And for you, a photo of my first complete mob of boys (25 Shootas). The pictures are not so good, it's hard to take a photo of 25 orks. =/ I have learned a number of things from this squad, which I hope to put to good use on the future stuff. The skin is partly stole from the current Tale of Gamers in WD, knarloc green washed with badab black. However, I didn't like the gretchin green highlight the painter used so tried different combinations. Some groups of orks have very different highlights than others. I have however changed to using a mix of knarloc green and elf flesh. The cloth is hawk turquoise and the leather is VMC leather brown. Alas, the leather sections are not that good really, I need to work more of better highlighting. In general these minis are not my best minis, but they're decent enough to look good in a group. Also, I think I'm going to alter my list. After consideration there are a number of changes I think would be more worthwhile, but I haven't looked too deeply at them just yet. Soon. Anyway, these are my Orks. ![]() Criticism and comments welcomed as always. =) Kuffy

From what I can see, they look good, but they could REALLY benefit from more color. the nob especially, looks very drab. I would add maybe some more blue, on armor places and things like that, maybe white or yellow as well. Keep up the good work though, I want to see more of these bad boyz. |

The flesh is good, but realism doesn't always look too good. Just a few varying colors would help greatly. They don't even have to be too abstract. Some bronze on your metals would be quick and easy. Caution chevrons is cool too. They are yours though, so I'm just a rambling idiot
