I, for one, like them very much.
Orks should be dark and brutal, and these sure capture that.
Sure, occasionally they have some bright colours in there (red onez go fasta, blue onez iz luckya eksetera eksetera), but generally anything near an ork is going to be either plain metal, rusty, or with the peeling rememnants of it's previous owner's paint scheme.
I definately don't see them dying cloth, for instance.

Jaffar_Hasad - I suppose there could be more colour but I don't fancy bronze on there than much. I think adding more colour would take away too much of the darkness and grime I kinda fancied looking at.

Dan - Yet your IW loving off my thread, you spiky beakie! I was thinking of doing checks on the Nobz jaw and perhaps the boss pole.

Minus_t - I'm glad that you like them as well. That is sort of along the lines that I was thinking too. =) Yeah...I have a fair bit done. =D I'm gonna beat you!! >=]

@KUFFY- Maybe a couple of Iron Warrior helmets as well on the base. Even if it is to annoy Dan .

I think annoying Dan is enough reason to add Iron Warrior helmets, let alone 'cos they'd look cool too.
I also think you should do some black helmets (from my Dragons) and definately some black or iron/chevron plates for the trukks...

I am. Bring on your marines, my Orks will crush you and then use all those pretty chaos bits to decorate their toilets with. (If they even have toilets, which I doubt...)

Minus_t - hehe, I will do some work with my Nobz and such. Wait and see.

I have also completed half of my next squad; 12 sluggas in trukk. The Black Reach minis are rather good actually.

An update! No pictures of the Orks, but I have nearly finished my second mob, one of the 12 man ones, just minus a converted nob. I think I'm still beating minus_t though. =P I have been lack, with uni going on and general life I can be. =p I have recently created this though:



I finished off reading "Sons of Fenris" and remembers just how much I actually love the Space Wolves. I want an army of them, but that won't happen until the codex is updated. He might well be my next project. His base is suppose to be him charging down a rhino ramp, the running part comes from the assault marine legs; hard to see when they're pinned to the 'painting podium'.

And something rather old, as those might remember them.... The Scions of Ra! I decided to take new photos of them, as to be frank, the previous ones were dire. So, here they are:

Running. Not catapulted. There's a difference. But, that is the general idea, running. The wolf pelt helps that idea so much, very handy. Look out for him being painted next!
