Kuffy, I have seen your work before and looking at these I have come to the conclusion that you're rushing. These are OK but looking at them they are not something you seem to have taken time over. .................................................. .Kidding :rofl The minis actually look great . that scar on the priests cheek and teh highlighting on the robes are amazing, keep up the good work.

Lookin good mate. The flesh is fantastic! nice and smooth. Its hard to see the armour in the picture, so difficult to comment on, but it does seem okay, though it is quite dark (as you say). The metallics on the plate underneath his chin seem a bit thick though. Might just be the photo. One thing, the cloak/robe looks quite rough (almost like the paint is too thick but obviously it isn't). Did the mini come with the textured cloak? It really suits it and I like the colour.

Kuffeh = Win. ...and because you did what I said, that means minus_t > kuffeh. ...and that's just simple logic. Seriously though, he's looking good. Perhaps a little more contrast on the metallics would be nice, especially on the leg-protector-thingys, and I definitely think you should dirty up the bottom of the robes. The skin looks good, though the die of his head without the scar looks a little plain, perhaps you could add something to make some interest? Stubble perhaps, or a twin-tail-comet tattoo? Although the photo isn't brilliant (couldn't you have waited til this morning, and done it near a window? *is exasperated*), and it's hard to tell, I think your golds are a little lacking. Are they finished, or is the photo killing them? Peace bud. -t.

Solo - You are slightly right there. I think the paint was drying too quickly and it came across chalky, its not that bad in person but I don't think it's that bad either. Tom - Lies. You only gave my a first step, the rest is down to myself. Thus... I rock! ![]() The metallics don't show that well, admittedly, but I like the dark and dirty look. A good few washes lead to that colour and it works. I might have to try for a better picture and see if I can show them in a better light. I may do the robe, but I'm scared of ruining a decent piece of work. I have only done wear and tear once and it was on a dark robe, not quite as noticeable in the mistakes region. =/ The "die" of the head? I'll go ahead and presume you mean side. But good idea about the tattoo, never thought of that. I might well give that a go when I get around to the text of the parchment. No, I couldn't. I have never used natural light, and to be fair I don't think I get enough light in my room to get a decent looking photo. I could get a second lamp out onto it though. I'll give that a go later. The gold, again it's possibly the photo but I did aim to make it look a little plain. I figured they're just hammer adornments, not like a necklace. I'll try to get a better picture like, but they're quite plain still. Kuffy

I'm rather happy with they way they came out, though as is usual with my work the highlights may not show up. The weapon hafts need work, I missed those. =/ I believe the pictures to be better, used two lamps this time. Any comments are welcome, as usual. =) Kuffy

I'm going to spoil you now. Two pictures! Not that much difference, just really a base added. ![]() I am not fully convinced by the 'tattoo' on his head. I'm not that good with freehand and looks a bit like a splodge. =/ The rest though I am quite happy with. And now him on his base: ![]() I was a bit concerned about the colour, but I think it's OK. The leaves I wanted to try and they worked rather well. In addition, the shield is based to look like a Skaven shield - a common Empire enemy. So, what do you all think? I may still muddy the robes, but I'm a bit scared of ruining it. =/ Kuffy
