I was thinking tiled floor. The reason being I plan to use a broken version of the dwarf bases for my greenskin army. To tie them together. ![]() Kuffy | |

I will just warn you, its a pain to have to build bases before you can build the models. I want to see a test model with the base done. Dan

I find that if you are willing to put the effort into making the bases then it can improve the model overall. I prefer to do bases for centrepiece models, ones that I know I will obsess over but I've seen entire armies with sculpted bases that looked amazing. I am interested to see what direction you take. I am currently planning to go with the stamping version of some flagstones. I just need to sit down and do some work, haven't touched minis for a while now. I have however stripped 12 thunderers and will be making them into crossbowmen, with some slight converting. I am thinking I'm going to have to buy a new battleforce for some bits, as I have some missing crossbowmen it seems. Will see. Oh, and going to need a lot of greenstuff for this army. My final thing is, I have put the troll aside. I attempted to paint him a week or so ago and its a no go. I just wasn't feeling it. So, he's been put onto a shelf to teach him a lesson. I have been very lax with the mini making recently, mainly due to getting sucked into the Xbox version of 'Oblivion'. This has lead to uni work being forgotten, so my plan this week is to get started on that so I have free time. Free time for 'Assassins Creed II'. >_< And hopefully some painting/modelling will be enacted during this period. And during Christmas and beginning of next year, I hope to get some work done. Perhaps you should browse through my threads, burn with envy, and let the proud dwarf in you come out and scream "my army will be better than all others!" ( Because dwarf armies should be :p ) Try it, yes, yeees..... Feel the achievements of your race being trumphed by another.. ![]() Still waiting eagerly for your new army

* grabs a dwarven ale * ![]() Well, when he turned red with envy when I was working on my dwarfs in my blog, he got so far as to paint a lord and test-model. Maybe I should post my finished 15 strong longbeard unit, I haven't posted them yet when they were completed.
