Well, me and Tekore have already started but in a completely inappropriate thread, so we might just as well continue our discussion here

See, I hear what you're saying about the Lady and such, but I always figured it was those snivelly elves influencing things. I will oppose your Chaotic reach in the fair realm, or something!

Oh, and I hear you might be doing a hippogryph...taking a Prophetess and my Lord choice myself for the first month, in order to theme the army around her, but I'm looking forward to seeing your Lord on one of those monsters, if that's the case.

Also, have bought a box of stuff, will be revising my army tomorrow night (assuming I make it home relatively earley), and will be ordering some horses to start making some centigor ASAP.

Also, Kuffy smells. Of dust. And other archaeological thingys.
Like hats. And whips. And, indeed, snakes.

Or so Indiana Jones has taught me.

I might very well let my Lord get a Hippogryph, but that'll be a bit later I reckon. I've done just like you really -I've started to work on my Lord (on Bretonnian WarSteed of kick-behind-iness) and his spellcasting follower. A lot of GS to be done though...

On a more serious note, can we partially do units each month. I.E. I do 2 ranks of slayers, with command, and a command rank of Iron Breakers for around 200 points?

I believe the answer is 'yes'.

You can do it any way you want really, if you get the whole unit done, spangly, have a month off, or do a canon crewman (or something else equally miniscule) next month, or you could split the unit into 200 point halves and paint half each month.

Yeah, I think this is the case, although this month, since I'm doing my ~300 point Lord unit Prophetess, I'm going to paint three (one for each school of magic that can potentially be taken: Beasts, Life, Heavens) in different styles so that I have one to use for when they enter the field. Should be fun.
