Black Templars WIP

Have decided to rotate painting my Black Templars with my WFB O&G army so that i dont go crazy painting just green or black all day. Here is the list of what i have to accomplish, my aim is to have it all done by xmas, but im not hopeful, half of it is still on the sprue, but the other half is at least assembled and undercoated.

well so far like i said above undercoated about half the army, mainly the crusader squads. But i have finished two squads entirely, being the "support" crusader squads or troop 3 and 4 as i wanted to get those bolter arms stuck on so they werent floating round my room for too long and risk being eaten by the evil, noisy, sucking thing that comes in here from time to time and no i dont mean my girlfriend either!

i painted both these squads a while ago, hopefully i have improved since then but only time will tell on that one.

Next on the agenda is the Master of Sanctity, i have raided a friends bits box with his permission of course as i didnt want one of the main focal points of my army to be a generic chaplian, i wanted mine to be just that, mine all mine!!! He is my first ever conversion so be kind, id also like to point out that he is a WIP and i have taken the approach of getting the finer detail out of the way before i set about the highlighting of the black power armour, so please no "its nice but i think you should highlight the power armour as the black looks a little flat" comments :rofl

I'm thinking that the terminator honours on this right shoulder could use a little more highlighting although it looks sweet with the naked eye....curse of the naff camera strikes again, but comment away.

finished painting my Master of Sanctity, now i just need to get him based, pretty pleased with the end product, dont ask how i managed to fit painting him in between the mersyside derby and the world cup final but i managed it

Good Work there on the Master of Sancitity. Its a nice conversion, very good work on the head two. Are the lights/globe things the orbs of anticoch? If so nice idea of swinging them on a chain before throwing them, unlike a normal grenade.

Good work, cant wait to see more.

thanks alot, no mate they aren't orb is on belt near the ammo pouches, but end of the day i repainted those today to make them looks like they have a candle or flame in them, but he is based and totally finished now

quick update i just finished converting my marshall in termi armour, this is only my 2nd ever conversion the master of sanctity above being the first and not overly pleased with the rope holding the cape and i may scrape that off later and replace with some chain i have lying about but let me know what you lot think please, anyway here he is

It looks nice. For the rope, you could try small string, just watch for it going'fluffy' when it gets super glue on it. Could I request some closer pictures, I cant really make out the detail from this image.

as requested Dan here are the close ups and thanks, i tooks your advice on the "rope" and using a little pva and a fair few strands of cotton i made my own and then super glued it on, plus i made a few other minor alterations whilst i was fiddling
