I finished the Sergeant for my Iron Fists unit. Here he is:

A Codicer WIP, still need to add wire around his hands to create crackling lightning (which will represent his Force Weapon and Fury of the Ancients), fueled by the personal power plant mounted on his Jump Pack:
and.... a trio of Heavy Bolter Automatons:

My Iron Father (Codicer) with his Frost Cannon (Fury of the Ancients). Still have to paint the facemask.
My Rhino! The scroll on the front says "REVERE" and features an iron hand clutching the word. The Fist decal on the side door was made by cutting a pattern from a piece of Scotch tape and spraypainting over it.

Well, the tournament has come and gone, with very satisfactory results: 2nd place. (and very close to 1st)
Round 1: Iron Hands versus Black Templar
The game started poorly for the Iron Hands, with the Rhino crippled.. however, as the Templar drew near, the Hands were able to swiftly overcome the enemy units one at a time. The biggest challenge was killing off the Emperor's Champion, who lay retribution down wherever he went. The Iron Father could not seem to get a grip on him, and it cost the Iron Fists a victory.
Round 2: Iron Hands versus Witch Hunters
Sad, really. I feel bad for people who aren't used to the heat of tournaments. My opponent was a very good hobbyist, and cared deeply for modelling and painting her models; however, she made some very strange unit choices (I assume based on personal model preference) and her battlefield tactics were very easy to read. I have to say, I was almost toying with the challenge, dangling risks all over the battlefield in an attempt to make it more interesting; we both knew she was going to lose.
Round 3: Iron Hands versus Necrons
Necrons are a tough force to fight, in my experience. Most Necron opponents play keep away with their troops, and this time was no different. Moving his machines behind cover virtually the entire game meant I couldn't hope to phase them out.. Fury of the Ancients was incredibly useful in this match, and incredibly frustrating for my opponent. A Necron Destroyer Lord with Warscythe gave me pains; I almost had to sacrifice my Iron Hands unit just to prevent my flank from folding. However, in the end, the Necrons ignored the mission objectives and I was able to take victory without very much struggle at all.
Result: Major Victory
Round 4: Iron Hands versus Tyranid
Ah, Tyranid; My favorite enemies. Having played a Tyranid army for years, I feel extremely confident every time I fight these aliens, and this game played out perfectly. My opponent's army composition was very intimidating, including a Carnifex, Hive Tyrant, several Warriors, and very fast Gaunt units. After discovering his list was illegal, however, the extras were removed and the "Horde" wasn't so frightening. As usual when facing this particular player, the army was based in waves. Thanks to a strong firebase combined with good firing lanes, I was able to terminate the aliens one wave at a time. (Gaunts > Warriors > Fex > Tyrant) For kicks my Iron Father flew straight into the Tyrant; victory had already been won by the Iron Hands. Both characters struck at Initiative 6; the Hive Tyrant (equipped with Implant Attack, therefore killing my Iron Father in 1 stroke) was very deadly.. until I passed all my saves and swiftly dropped the monster with one stroke. Icing on the cake of a flawless victory.
Result: Perfect Massacre
In the end, I have to admit I was extremely impressed with my army list. I've never played a Loyalist army before; a whim was the cause for the army. I won a SM Battleforce and just decided to bust out a project in 2 weeks for this tournament. Very happy with the results.
Pictures of the completed force coming soon.

Liking the librarian. Are you using necron parts in your conversion? HERESY! *summons Inquisition*
Seriously, nice job. I'm glad you went with the "frost cannon" instead of simulating lightning bolts from his hands. Rarely have I seen attempts at that work, and the cannon is a creative alternative. I also like the familiar.
Keep it up!
