I have recently started working on a chaos army focused mostly around the forces of nurgle.
The army is mostly assembled and I have begun to paint it.
I will post WIP pics of all my models as well as finished pics once they are done.
below is an Obliterator that I converted from a Terminator using parts from various kits.
It doesn't much fit the theme of my army but I created it for the Sniper Contest in the Painting board.
I wanted to make a more robotic model then the normal fleshy Obliterator. The model is made using Terminator and Tau Crisis suit parts.
I have a Daemon prince, 3 squads of plague marines and 3 more Oblits to show you guys. I'd appreciate any comments or criticisms of my models (please remember that this is my first army so don't be to critical).
Looks nice so far.
Cant wait to see the marines you have got. Have you seen peoples plague marines converted using the FW CRM bits?
Ive done some robotic oblitoraters before.
For more, check out my log and Photobucket, more pictures in both (In my Signiture).
Here is my finished Sniper Oblitorator. This is my first time trying to paint any kind of camo scheme and I think it came out well. I also like the fact that he has a camo pattern along side white and shiny metal components.
I'm pretty happy with how it came out. It is some of my best work. I'm a lot better at painting than I was a month ago and hopefully I will continue to improve.
My army list has completely changed so that it no longer includes the Oblitorator. He may still be included for a higher point army. My list has 3 plague marine squads, 2 daka preds, a bike squad, and a generic terminator lord.
The first plague marine squad is finished and here it is.
I'll post some better pictures of the squad later.
You can be critical about my spelling if you want. I have been spelling for years so I should be able to do it properly. lol
I used the end of a rocket launcher with a little green stuff filling the hole for the head. It makes me think of the big daddies from bioshock as well.
Here are closeups of all the models in the finished Plague marine squad.
And here is the picture of my next squad which is obviously a work in progress.
Progress so far:
Termi Lord : ready to paint
Plague marines 1 : done
Plague marines 2 : ready to paint
Plague marines 3 : almost ready to paint
Predator 1 : need to buy
Predator 2 : need to buy
Bike squad : need to buy
My insane goal is to finish this army for a tournament near the end of the month.
Edit: Forgot to say this before, danjones87, I love those Robotic Oblitorators of yours.

They're still a little difficult to see, the lighting doesn't seem right. What I can see is good and nurgley which I can't say is nice but you know what I mean. Aestheticaly pleasing being the term I think.
