    LoL's Black Templar PIP

Can I just start off by thanking titan136 for inspiring me to collect Black Templars I Don't think i'd ever have liked Templars unless titan136 had made his project. And just so you know my work can't compare to any of his work, i just want to share it with you guys and get your veiws. Just so you know i'm pritty much a begginer painting wise, its never been a strong point. These are the first marines i've ever done.

Well coming from medium skill painter like urself, I think they look pretty good. It looks like your whites and reds need more lighter coats, but the texter and look it has, i think looks better. Just like my mini's, I think they look good from far, but far from good. How long did it take you to paint all of that?

quiksilver - It took me about 2 weeks of on and off paiting, I do need to spend more time on my figures. And thanks for the advice.

Not really in a position to give advice as I have only been painting for 6 months, but looking at your minis I will say this, they surely ain't the best looking models I have seen but they ain't the worst by a long shot, just take your time and I reckon your paint jobs will improve, and as quicksilver said, your paint looks a little thick, remember you can always add another layer of thin paint problem is you cant really take off a thick one, hope this helps you a bit, good luck with the termis they were by far my favourite bit of painting my templars

Very Nice beggining for sure, if I had to comment I'd point out that the grey highlight you apply to your black armour is almost violent, be gentle man =\
    Simple factor :
heavily contrasting highlight colour = light lines at the edges
light contrasting highlight colour = thick lines at the edges

    it's all a matter of blend ^^
