I've been pretty busy working on stuff but I've been lazy about posting updates, so I thought it was about time I posted up some of the progress I've made.

Reapers/Raptors: More or less finished. I need to do a few detail bits but nothing major.

WIP Aspiring Champion converted from Chaplain Cassius(apologies for the horribly blurry pic):

My ForgeWorld Death Guard troops. The guns aren't glued in place yet, nor have the backpacks been attached. Those will be added after painting. I did these without using greenstuff on the plastic parts. Instead I wanted to make the armor corroded more in line with the FW bits. I drilled random holes of various sizes and distressed them with an exacto knife and then added tiny holes with a push pin. It turned out pretty well even though it was much more time consuming than greenstuff would've been.

Looking sharp as always cadaver. I like they whay you dit the raptor's it a simpel but effective conversion. The deathgaurd troops look nice aswell but not that special in comparison to all your previous stuff but maybe the paint will pick them up to the right lvl.

Keep it up mate we are getting really close to a damm big army

Cheers Jayz

that looks wicked awesome super man! my favourite part of the baneblade is the busted plates with the goo oozing out, the marines keep looking awesome, and the reapers are nice too.

any chance to sort of make muscles for the reapers necks? to give them a grossed out look?

I will shortly. I want to get a few more things assembled first and then I'll do a big army shot. But to give you an idea I have the following:

77 plaguemarines

8 chosen

7 raptors

23-24 Terminators(can't remember exactly)

3 Obliterators

4 Predators

2 Land Raiders

5 Rhinos

Typhus(Obliterator conversion, still needs to be built)

Plaguereaper

2 defilers

20 plaguebearers

And for Apocalypse stuff that still needs to be built/converted I have:

30 zombies

50 mutants(also doubling as Pink Horrors in my LaTD/Daemon army)

10 cultists(based off Empire Flaggellants with Pig Iron gas mask heads)

Leman Russ

So yeah, it's getting to be a ridiculously big army. Once I take pics it probably won't include the Apoc stuff but it should have most of the other stuff listed.

The reapers probably won't have much else added. The heads are actully quite cool when you look at them straight on cause they kind of appear to be floating. They look pretty creepy that way. I was going to add hoods but I didn't like how it turned out really. I may go back and give it another try before I prime these guys though. I'll post pics if I do.

Hey guys, I should be having some updates over the next week. I'm taking a week off work and I plan on getting alot of painting done. I've been doing a few minor things lately but nothing really picture worthy.

I completely re-did the Daemon Prince's head and have painted up 7 out of my 20 current plaguebearers/lesser daemons. I've been refining a 2,000 point army list and plan to get everything painted I need for that list over the next week.

So be patient, I should have a ton of painted models to showcase soon. Including some I know alot of people on the various forums I post have been asking about, like the defiler, terminators and daemon prince.

Thanks to everyone for the continued interest.

yeah this stuff is wicked, PM's are a little too expensive for my taste but I can only imagine how tough a full army of them would be...
more work gogo!

I've been hard at work all week painting a few characters. Unfortunately, this is all I got done with my week off. I wanted to at least get the defiler done but the Daemon Prince took longer than expected. The defiler will be painted next though.

The daemon prince got a new head not too long ago and I built a Sorcerer in Terminator armor based of the Typhus model. The head is from the WFB Darm Emissary with the horns cut off.

The Sorcerer:

I need to go back and add some weird psychic effects to his eye. I think that will make him look a bit creepier.

I'm extremely happy with how the Daemon Prince turned out. I got my hands on a bunch of the new washes and found that Devlan Mud was the perfect color to use for my technique for painting bones. I also used some washes on the arm wound and pustules and inflamed skin around them. I had so much fun painting this guy I think I want to do another.
