Have you tried sprinkling some bicarb on top whilst it is still wet? Failing that, might be the fineness of the bicarb. I use some with a slightly large crystal size. Failing THAT I have no idea pal

Yup tried that. Maybe mine is too fine like you say (or I'm just not getting the mix right....).
What "brand" are you using - mine is like very fine powder, no crystals....

mine is still a powder however it is a coarser one. Dr Oetker is the brand I use. Failing that try Deluxe Materials Scenic Snow, is great stuff.

The Deluxe Mats snow is what I also use, I would recommend to coverings then a wash of gloss for that wet effect.

That thing is wicked and filthy.

@Jared van Kell - Complete army.......mate that could take me a couple of years....it might NEVER be complete with all the craziness in my mind spewing forth chaos conversions Its also a reason why I am selling my Black Templars I need to room in my display cabinet.

@Non Marine Player - Thanks pal. I am sure there is a full army "so far" shot somewhere in the thread, I will try and dig it out. I am sure that GW will do one when the entire lot goes to Warhammer World in June next year though, I have problems photographing an army as my camera is just not up to the task.
