I am starting a w.i.p (work in progress) log to kick things off for me here at LO. I should hopefully be able to update this every
First up is an Inquisitor I painted back in January
The second mini is a Rackham model from the confrontation miniature range. I am trying out NMM on this mini as well as different "Juices" through the cloth
Comment and critisism welcome
Welcome to LO, Dwayne!
Nice way to introduce yourself. That's a good-looking mini you've got there. I particularly like the semi-psychotic look in the eye (hope this is a radical inquisitor!) and the detail on the inside of the cloak, not something many people bother with. The only thing it's missing is some sort of detail on the OUTSIDE, preferably something more ornate than the inside, but that's a minor quibble. The experta who peruse this forum will surely have more detailed advice than I, but I love it!
Thanks for moving this Cyric, I somehow didn't notice the big box at the top that said projects.
Also thanks for the comments you guys i will update this next week when my painting ban is lifted ( banned for one week).
Nah it's not self-imposed (I would never put myself through this much misery).
The docter reccomended it cause I have been having really bad headache problem's lately (which has resulted in me having to take days of school:party:..........I know, poor attitude)
Sorry for the lack of updates recently just one more day to go before I can pick up a brush. In the last week I have started to try and create my own website so I can advertise commission work over the net and it's not going to well (I'm no good with technology). But at least I have been keeping busy.
Here is a picture of what was going to be my entry for U18s in Australian GD but it's turning out s#!t so I am just going to paint it and sell it on Ebay. And also a picture of my workspace for the fun of it.
Sorry about the crap pic's.
Hope y'all like
CHK CHK BOOM!
I definately like the inquisitor, and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished death jester.
While the jester does look nice, I think your problem was the color selection. If you had chosen a brighter color rather than the grey, I think it would have looked better, personally. Still a fine model, and I'm sure it will be fine enough once its fully painted. Hope you find something even better for your GD entry. I wish I was painting that well when I was 15...let alone now...
You really like koalas dont you?
