Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hi with the compleation of my tank company and my titan (except base) I have begun my new space marine army it will consist of:
4 5 man tac squads
3 5 man dev squads
Anyways I have made my first 5 man squad and I'm quite pleased. I finished painting the first marine today. However he is gunless for painting ease, and currently has no shoulder pads for the same reason, and also me and dan are working on a stamper so i can have a moulded chapter symbol on the left pad. OK well hope you like him:
C+C welcome as always,
I like the eyes. As you said I think the picture has taken some of the shine from the model. Ill see it in the flesh tomorrow then.
I think the skull could do with a wash of flesh or brown ink, very watery, to make it blend better.
The stamper should be quiet an easy thing to do.
Theres quiet a few little things I think you could add to this army to make them VERY special. Daemonic talismans, artifacts and books would all be of interest to the relictors and I imagine them taking things like these to war with them.
Nice models! I'll keep an eye on this thread because it could be very interesting :-)
Also, if the stamper works out please let us know how to make our own :-P
i love the look of the grey armour. how'd you go about painting that?
They look good, awesome job. Keep up the good work.
Hi guys, thanks for the compliments should have this squad 'finished' by sunday and hopefully have a stamper the week after.
The gray is reletivly easy just time consuming more than anything and I don't want to batch paint cus my models always seem to slip in quality wen I do this. Anyways the gray is a base coat of codex gray and black in equal amounts. Then a large highlight of Adaptus battle gray (foundation paint) leaving all the nooks and crannys un painted. Then finally a highlight of codex gray.
