Im definately finishing my Iron Warriors and Emperors Scorpions first, theres only three models till both of the armies to list are done, theres a few extras here and there like alternative leaders and such. After that I hope to get some other armies on the go, Im sure its going to be Dark elves and pure infantry Tau.

I know, my wallet hates me.

So i got the 5 man grenadier squad and HQ command squad finished except for the bases (bases are all going to be done at once after everything is painted) next up s the first platoon command squad. Pictures to follow.

I like the way you paint your death korps.. Dark and sinister, makes me think of ghosts, or the legion of the damned...
How much time do you use on a unit?

they look really nice matey, do you drybrush much of the scheme? or is it mostly painted traditionally?

Thank you, i really was aiming for a dark and gritty look for them, on average it takes 1 1/2 - 2 hours for a five man unit.

Its all done through layering, i simplified it into 3 steps for each color (base, 1st highlight, 2nd highlight) so i could get them done fast and have them still look good.
