Welcome to Librarium Online!
In this thread members who signed up for the 'event' will be required to post each month - on the 1st of the month the following items:
* A picture of 200pts worth of miniatures that they have painted for the month's challenge
* A picture of the entire army that they have painted thus far.
In addition, members are allowed to post any fluff or list that they have selected to use or comments which they decide to post. They are also allowed to have their own WIP blogs, but still must post the images in this thread.
Just a quick reminder, everyone - If you paint more than 200 points in a month, Kudos to ya. However, for the purposes of this project, please limit your monthly entries to as close to 200 points as you can muster, going a bit over in favor of being a bit under of course.
The following members have chosen to do a 40k army:
The Paint Monkey
Space Marine Bikes
Chaos - Black Legion
Cyric the Mad
The Lamenters, Cursed Chapter of the 13th Founding
Best of luck to you all! First deadline is.... 1st August
Here's my Assault squad for the month.
There is also an extra Assault Marine with a flamer done (to swap for a plasma on occasion) but he had his blur field on in every photo.
More stuff here-- http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...c-heavy-2.html ([Tale Of Painters] Crimson Fists- Pic heavy!)
No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!
looks like I have to play my last joker. While I got a bit done on my squad, I won't get it finished by the end of the month because of work. Hopefully after this month, things will ease up a little bit though, so I can finish off the army.
There is no way I am allowing myself to joker out at this stage.

Weighing in at 235 points, this month's entry for King88mob!
First off, a farseer with a singing spear on a jetbike(board )
I'm quite happy with this guy considering the EXTENSIVE conversions that he represents. It's a bonesinger model with a head, arm and back piece transplant, cut off his tree and put onto a heavily modified dark eldar hover board.
And now my new favorite grav tank: Falcon with Missle Launcher
I'm really really happy with how this came out. It's a falcon with the forgeworld Mk2 conversion kit (what a pain in the bum that kit is. the molding is terrible (at least it was on mine)) I really like how the camo and especially the panel lines came out.
Photo of the completed entry for the month:
And finally, after long delay, a photo of everything painted for this competition so far.

Mister Mobb, I converted your army shot to an attachment as it was slightly over our 700px width limit.
Now, as for me... As much as it pains me to do so, I have to play my last joker this month. I'm really close to having my dreadnought finished, but I just don't see having time in the next seven hours to pull it off. So my September entry will be the venerable dreadnought, followed by Sammael in October.
Down to the wire!
My entry for August (sorry for the pic quality, all I had was my wifes camera)
10 Khorne Beserkers
Skull Champ w/Power Sword
Total Points Painted
I'm not planning on using the second Predator for my final TOP entry, rather, I'm planning on painting my Land Raider and another squad of Plague Marines. See you next month.
