Alright...so to keep me on track on an upcoming army i am going to try to keep this project log and provide frequent updates. So far the plan is to go with a slaanesh cult theme and as such i tried to avoid Khainite units (except the executionars....the models are to awseome to ignore.) The color scheme is going to be a nmm teal, liche, and warlock purple. Everything is going to be extreme highlighted to give it an ethereal feel. The 2250 list i am working towards... 25 Spearmen, Musc. Standard-184 18 Corsairs, FC, Serpent Standard-230 18 Corsairs, FC-205 18 Execs. FC-246 10 Crossbowmen-100 10 Corssbowmen-100 5 Harpies-55 5 Harpies-55 6 CoK, Musc.-143 6 CoK, Musc.-143 Death Hag, BSB, ASF banner-150 Sorc. X2 Disp Scrolls.-150 Sorc. X2 Disp Scrolls-150 Hydra-175 Bolt Thrower-100 Alright the buying of models begins tommorrow, i will be picking up a battle force.

The store had a pretty disappointing selection of the new DE stuff. All they had left was a CoK box...so i snatched that up and a bolt thrower to get me started. I got the bolt thrower crew done up in the test scheme. I am pretty happy with how they came out. It looks fairly slaaneshi and strange. I think across an army wide scale the colors will really pop. Comments and suggestions are most welcome.   EDIT: I dont know why the pics are different sizes...it says they are the same pixel dimensions...oh well.

I think they look fantastic, I envy your skills sir. If you paint the rest of the army to this standard, you'll have something to be very proud of at the end!

C/-Rt3r - That is a very good colour scheme you have there. Its different but the two colours work well enough for, like you said, the army to pop as a whole. I look forward to seeing more of this army, even if it made of filthy elves.   Kuffy

Alright finished the bolt thrower and got the bases for the crew done. The bolt thrower came out okay. Some parts look alot better than others but i am pretty satisfied with the overall effect.

Sorry it has been so long since i updated this thread. I stalled out in the middle of the unit and it took my awhile to get back in gear. Anyway, here is 5 CoK's. I love these models and i am happy with how they came out. I think the cold ones will be a nice break from the blues and pinks when looking at the whole army. Next up i have got 5 executioners and a sorceress.
