Wow, just joined this thread, and I must say that is one fantastic titan. I'd love to see it fight, as long as I wasn't on the table at the same time. Keep up the great work, rep. |

Dude you have no idea how tempting that is... However, living at the bottom of England prevents me from doing so. Unfortunately I just don't have the resources to travel up to Nottingham. Yet...

Well, been messing around with the paints again. Done some more on the underneath of the chin and taken a picture that is visable to the eye. I did some rust on the 'faceplate' to, but I went OTT on it and needed to remove some of the rusted holes. ![]() Dan

Very beautiful sir. Have you thought of taking some guardsman and having them strapped on as trophies like the Daemon Prince picture from the old rule book? ill get the img and post it here ^^ just a suggestion that i think would look awesome, especially with some old decayed guts so warn into the feet that they cant be whiped off ever =P |

Well Kid-Blue, Im going to look at adding trophies at a later stage. There will probabley be some Imperial fist heads warped in barb wire and skulls and such. Anyhow, here is a view from either side of the face. There is the glass in the eye sets, it will recieve some bullet holes and some dirty dust patches too. mainly on these pictures you can see the rust effects from the pigments. ![]() ![]() Dan

Looking fine buddy. That rust looks awesome, were the MIGs easy to use? The matte-ness against the shiny metal really sells it, though perhaps a few little spots of shine still poking through would look fun too. I still think that top plate is a little bright, but maybe that's just me. Could we get a pic with it against the top carapace, to compare? -t.

Mig pigments were alot harder to use than I expected. Instead of applying them with a brush I used a cotton bud and neated it up with the brush. The effect is softer. Expect a rust tutorial for your new forum! Quote:
