A whole bunch of WIPs, and some finished models (SHOCK HORROR!)...:
Firstly, Snikrot:
His skin is done, the mask is about half done (needs lighting from the blue 'eyes', which will be a pain), and other than that he is still primed...
Eeek.
Awesome model though.
My truescale World Eater, for Camel Aid:
My Gnarlhorn Satyr:
Again, very WIP. His skin and fur is done, the metallics are about 30-40% done, and the horns are about 60%, I'd guess....
...and finally:
The Three Hunters.
Who are actually finished!
You can see more of them over *here* (The Three Hunters)...
So, as usual, thoughts etc?

@Snikrot: The skin looks great but he seems a bit... armless. You know?
@World Eater: Wow, that model look really good. Any chance of getting a comparison pic next to a regular warrior?
@Satyr: One of my favourite warbeast-models. And it looks like you are doing a great job on it. I really like the flesh. Fur... well there's not a lot of it. Looks pretty good though, if a bit dark.
@Hunters: Very nice diorama you have there. Painting looks really solid, although I'm a bit unsure about the colour of the base and the flock. I think it blends a bit well with them and I would have liked a brighter flock and a different brown for the base.

Snikrot is looking incredible, even being mostly primed as he is. What are you thinking for where the blue and red OSL meet?
The Satyr's skin looks very nice and I like where the horns are going.
The diorama, clearly, is great. All three models are really well done (I took a look at the other thread) and I really like Gimli's red clothes and Aragorn's face.

I like!
Snikrot looks really good, the skin is brilliant!
The world eater should have some small cables coming out of his head into the armour. In the 2nd Horus Heresy book it spoke about the World Eaters cutting thier hands before a battle in some kind of ritual. It would be cool to show this!

You know I like the ork, from MSN. And me liking orks. The skin is really well done, can't wait to see what you do with the rest of him.
I like the World Eater, nice chainaxe there. Though, upon a second look it does appear that he's leaning forward quite a bit. A bit too much for my liking.
I like the fur and skin on the Satyr, I think I spot a few little lines for muscle definition. Looks good.
And I commented on the other in your other thread.
Kuffy

That Ork is fantastic.
I am also loving the World Eater, and while he is leaning forward a lot it does lend him a very dynamic pose.
I really like your LotR diorama, the one teeny question mark I have over it is the skin tone on Legolas' face- something seems slightly off about it but I can't put my finger on what it is...overall an amazing diorama though.
Loving your 'product' as always -t ;p

Thanks guys, much appreciated =)
Legolas's face is a little odd, he has some blues in his skin tones to cool them down and make him look pale, but I think the last shade I did probably went over the top...
Never mind.
The world eater is a way off being finished, just yet. He will hopefully get some cables into his head, and I'm not set on the pose yet. He's supposed to be running forward about to shoulder slam someone, but it is a little off. There is also the huge gash in his middle to deal with... =P
Just for my own amusement (and, I guess, your viewing pleasure), which of these three images seems better defined to you guys?
I always seem to get people saying that my photos are quite dark, but on my monitor they seem fine...
Anyway:

PS. Did some work on Snikrot and the Gnarlhorn last night, might try and get some pics up in a few days...

Snikrot is great, the skin is very well done and the red glow is awesome.
Next time you paint something similar, I humbly request for a tutorial with pics.
I don't think it will be a good idea to add blue glow as well. I am afraid it would look a little like a Christmas tree. I would paint the blue "eyes" as gems... passive sensors!
Thank you for sharing!
i have to say -t great work as usual
but for the world eater if you are going for the look of shouldering someone or something i would think that a good point of reference for you might be american football since that is typically what they do is constantly try to knock someone out of the way using there shoulders. when i picture shouldering someone asside that's typically what i think of.

but that's just my own imagination, knees bent lunging foreward weapons down at the sides or even behind (even backwards) to prevent them from being thrown from grasp, one shoulder foreward, and chin tucked.
no matter what you choose man i'm sure it will turn out great can't wait to see how things turn out
