I quite like the shiny horns. You've posed this guy quite well, too.
And the Mule-iner looks pretty good, too! I can't remember what the original Mule looks like but I'd be happy using that as a replacement, regardless.

Apotheosis; I loved the mange, I'm sure it will be an awesome movie.
realitycheque; 2 hours into the game and I'm back to being a space lesbian
Your Satyr is looking great, buddy. I really love the pose you've got for him, I wish I could've seen some of the process you went through there. Can't wait to see him finished!

Learn how to paint.
Nice work on these, I like the barrel, good GS work there. The shaman's skin is unusual in tone, but interesting. I look forward to seeing what you can do for the rest of it. And I love the last guy, the monotone looks great and suits the 'shadow' part of the big goats name.

I really like the skin on the shammy how did you do this? Those horns are fantastic too. Out of intrest were do you order you privateer press models from?
JB
Cheers guys!
The Shaman is (at the moment) Knarloc Green, washed Devlan mud, then highlighted by mixing Ice Blue into Knarloc. He's going to get some glazing, then probably highlighting with Bleached Bone to make him a little more natural...
But maybe not.
The PP models are normally ordered from Maelstrom Games, as my local games store that 'stocks' PP normally adds about 10% to the RRP, and only has new releases. This makes me sad, but I normally cave in and grab new books there, 'cos it's more fun that way.
The shadowhorn was reposed by cutting away about half of his huge, gigantic belt of doom (yes, it used to be bigger), then leaning his torso forward, bending both legs at the knee (involving quite a lot of cutting), and one at the hip.
The right arm was cut in half, and the elbow was entirely re-sculpted.
Then, all the gaps were filled with GS, and some new rags were sculpted over the cut hip.
It was quite a lot of work, and I noticed that he almost exactly shares poses with the Gnarlhorn, which is kinda spooky.
Hopefully he'll get finished tomorrow, depending on what else needs doing...

Who are you? Congratulations on joining LO, Im sure you will find plenty of people to help your painting skills here, you sure need it.
Great work.
The shaman looks wierd at the moment. Looking forward to seeing it done.
The warjack pirate thing also looks quiet funky. Te sculpted barrel thing is well done. Whats the black thing on the end of the cannon? It looks like some breakfast cereal or a polo.
The bull thing is cool, the skins/fur tones are very nice. I think you should do the markings on the skin in very dark blue, so they barely show from the skin.
Dan

Thanks a bunch again guys, even you mean ones.
I got the shadowhorn finished, yay!
More pics of him over *here*
What do you guys think?

The armour makes him look ghostly (or shadowy, but that seemed too obvious).
