I'll probably be trying to bring both factions along anyway, and see if we can get a real table set up in Bugmans, rather than using a dining table... =) ][ Blackadder, that is quite possibly a good plan. I love the eEiryss mini, and she's a mercenary, so as long as you don't settle on Cryx, you can use her, no worries. At some point in the future (probably a fair while off), the Retribution will be introduced, and if they look anything like as cool as eEiryss, then they're going to be pimp. More painting: Just about finished off the Sword Knight's absentee shields (they were missing from the pack I brought), and done some serious work on eNemo and Journeylady. I'm really enjoying the Cygnar 'characters', despite my initial worries... Nemo is a blast! -t.

Are you painting eNemo or the regular one? I agree with you, I think the journey(wo)man warcaster models are really nice looking. I'm not a huge fan of regular Nemo's pose but eNemo is really slick.

OK, another day another finished model... Still working away slowly on eNemo (it's the Epic one, by the way, as it is awesome. I'm using the cards from the faction deck in my games atm) and the journeylady, only got the blacks, metallics and the basing to go, which is cool. He won't be getting finished 'til at least sunday though, so don't hold your breath for pics... Anyway, here is my second Woldwarden, converted up aaaaages ago, and painted for the ToP project...: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Anyone have any comments? -t.

He's very nice. The ropes especially look great. I would have liked to see the runes glowing a bit more. As is it looks a little inconsistent (you've got great big glowing eyes, and very bright actual runes, but the light doesn't seem to radiate over the rest of the surface) The wood's a little darker in the front than the back. Id have to see it up close to see if it's just the lighting of the photo. Solid solid model though! The base is nice while being simple. |

Again with the magnificent use of the three color palette. It's like, blue grey brown, that's all kids I'm out, and it's gorgeous. Did you study FA or design in school? Maybe I should just start taking night classes in art fundamentals =)

Well, it's been a while, but I have pics of stuff! eNemo: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Journeylady: ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm fairly happy with them, the photos are a little dark (took them in a bit of a rush), so sorry about that! The journeylady's face is also a little weird, it looks fine from the side, but the mould line really screws up her protrait... Anyway, that's me done for now, folks. I'm hoping to have some pics of marines for you guys next week, which would be awesome. As usual, thoughts and criticism welcome! -t. PS. previous comments: king88mob: The glow is focused around the eyes to show a concentration of power, and to try and define a focus point. The model isn't really doing much on it's own, so I figured the paint should do some of the talking, so to speak! But thanks for the comments =) IAffe: I've got a degree in Graphic Design, which might explain the cutting colours down approach...
