i never follow up with anything but now, hopefully, i will. i am going to start posting some projects of mine and some finished ones. ill use this to show off my work and maybe one day ill finish my warp-lightning cannon.
here is said cannon:
so this cannon i have been painting for a looooooong time, and i dont know if it will ever be done. i finished the main part and the engineer is almost finished(still needs light and some small details maybe) after that its the to super slaves that push it,
i may just do my first modeling on them to make them look all warped out like the old rat ogres but tiny. maybe.
up next will be some finished products my rat ogres and a dwarf thane i painted for a friend.
pictures will come later, there may be more.
so i just realized i never explained any of these i will fix that and add it to all my new posts here.

ok so i cant find that thane yet so instead you get my penitent engine.
i painted it like 4 years ago. i spent a whole day home sick painting this and i will probly never go back and fix it up.
now for the Rat Ogres. they are for my pestilence army once was going to be bubonic court.
first two are the new plastic models, the third is an old metal one.
i love how the metal rat ogres skin and stitches came out

wow,I love the Warp lightning cannon but I fail to see why there is no lighting from the engine thingy falling onto the crewman, the Rat ogres are very disgustingly pestilent (thats a good thing) and capture the Image of pestilence well,
looking forward to seeing the Inquisitor,
uh there is currently no lighting on the engineer to the cannon due to it not being done. ive been forkin on that thing forever but ive started to paint again and will try to get it done......
but WAR looks so shiney and i can has play time now....stupid gamestop.
Well, they're definitely tabletop quality, but to take the next step, I'd first suggest making sure you paint is sufficiently thin. It looks a little thick in places, but if some of these are from years ago I feel your pain. I got a piece or two in my collection that I'd like to strip because of that, personally.
More importantly, I don't know if it's the pictures, but shading would help pretty much all of these models.
For example, the penitent engine looks rather flat as it is, but if you took some washes to it, it would have a lot more depth. If you have the GW washes, you can use Devlan Mud on all the flesh, and Badab Black on all the boltgun metal parts. If you don't have these, you could thin down a dark brown, such as Scorched Brown, in place of the mud wash, or Chaos Black thinned down and replacing Badab Black. If you haven't washed these, try it. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised how much it changes things. Just be prepared to go back and re-apply some of the main color in selected areas after everything dries.
Well the next set of stuff is going to take a few days extra
my computer decided to kill itself so now im sorting out what needs to be redownloaded and trying to find all the discs and stuff....stupid technology

nice, work Bureaucraticom the ork is coming along very nicely and the skin on the little gobbo on his shoulder is just sweet.
and with the inquisitor and his homies, they ere painted cool but theyed look a whole lot more awsome if they had special bases (wink,wink..nudge,nudge) or maybe even a large display base for the whole unit.
well, looking forward to seeing what is coming up next.
