I'm a bit late on this, it seems, but that's a wonderful job! I love the tone of the pegasus' skin, it seems so natural, and the wings look fantastic as well. You've outdone yourself once again, it seems!

Thanks everybody for the compliments and everything, (I feel all shy and funny).

It is really satisfying finishing a model like this, now I just need to get down of my cloud and find something equally inspiring for Secret Santa, and my this months painting.

It isn't a big conversion or anything but I am trying to get the painting part right.

I pretty much bought this as soon as I got the email thing and since I am not doing a conversion figured I might as well get it underway, then I was having fun so got quite a bit done.

You may ask but to be honest I couldn't tell you even if I wanted too, I think that he is supposed to be from Black Templars and I will probably put their chapter markings on him but when I looked to see how he was painted on CMON there was no real hard and fast rule. They are normally black but they seem to come in all kinds of colours, I just felt like doing cream with glowing blue eyes and stuff.

This was my inspiration, and now whoever receives my mini will probably look at what it could have been and sigh.

Well this has been a long time between posts, and I really have very little to add, I spent last month painting my secret santa, posted, and 6 spear elves which I got bored of and couldn't finish.

Then I got a rush of blood to the head and thought I would do some more of my Lizardmen so bought a Stegadon.

Here are some pictures of my current lizardmen and a WIP of the Stegadon.

They don't get anywhere near the same level of attention as my elves, they are mostly "masterpieces" in drybrushing. The look ok on the tabletop though.

I like those skinks - a nice bright green, they really stand out!
