Man, how did I miss this thread? Great stuff. I love the high elves colors and then you have that cool witch hunter, a very different and much darker color scheme.

Thanks for the positive response David, feel free to offer any criticisms as well I am always keen to learn more to improve.
This is just a quick update and to put in my Secret Santa here since it has taken up most of my tale of painters time.

Another christmas present, this is a dirty dark elf that has been stealing all my luck recently, it will be good to get rid of him.

The photos are all double ups, even numbers have no flash, odd number's were taken using the flash but without colour balancing.
As usual comment and criticism welcome.

Ok haven't updated in ages,
Only just got this guy finished within the deadline. but that leaves me with another 400 points to go.
I think that I am going to have to flag the seagaurd, up the SM to 10 with command for next month, finishing with another 10 Archers and the bolt thrower, or maybe 10 Archers and 5 reavers again.
I have included the army shot since I didn't post the Reavers and Archers on here before. Neither unit is properly finished yet but i have been quite hard on myself and stopping when I reach the end of the deadlines so I can tidy them all up after ToP is done.

I have to say something.
I'll say... mmmmighty nice
Love the dwarf, how did he fare? Is he finished or did he die?

I like the conversions to use the Wood Elf horses and the painting is very well done - it suits your elves well.
Nice work!

He is as finished as he is going to get. In hindsight I made the base too large for the miniature and be needed a pole or something to be tied too.
Thanks very much xbanditsx, I would hardly call them conversions though, they are just high elves stuck on wood elf legs really.I like the conversions to use the Wood Elf horses and the painting is very well done - it suits your elves well.

I am going to try to update this weekly now to help my procrastinantion / motivation.
These are the beginning of of my swordmasters, as a friend said got to do 3 a week lets see how that goes.

I know that people don't much like the swordmaster miniatures but I think that they are cool, as they are quite emotive. They all look like statues and I get the feeling that they are about to explode into action, helped in no small way by this fantastic unit of SM that is one of, if not my favourite (most inspiring) unit ever.

Looking really good Allonairre.
I agree with xbanditx on the conversions, you claim "it's nothing much" and while it's all humble and nice, facts remain. Your conversion really changes the feeling of the minis in a very relevant way. You've made them yours and your minis look great.
I also like the SwordMasters, though being a pure 40K player "SM" made me look all through the thread again. Not a single SpaceMarine to be seen. You made me think...it feels a bit strange in my head now...must sit...oh I sit already... wierd, better lay down.

I will have to try and find a true SM to paint for you Andusciassus, i am sure tat I will be able to track one down somewhere, apparently they are reasonably common in 40K.
As to the modesty, blame ma and pa, I was brought up that way. I figure that I must be reasonably proud though if I am bothering to post the miniatures in the first place.
While I am posting here is my progress to date, let me what I can do to improve and I will try it out.
