Welcome to Librarium Online!
As my chaos thread is a bit cramped as it is, im starting this one for the 'nids.
Started this army to have something other than chaos to do until dark eldar get their new stuff.
Hive Fleet Borealis
Bought a battleforce, a lictor and a zoanthrope to start me off.
First off the termagants
8 of these for starters, took me about a weekend from start to finish, record time for me.
Zoanthrope is assembled and primed.
I have magnetized the carnifex, going to do cleanup and final adjustments on him soonish, he's gonna be fun to paint.
(all the bits that are magnetized.)
More to come
Well, from these pics, I can totally see that you love your minis - let no detail go spared.
From that, they look nice, but in the future, I would advise you to do a thinner highlight, because the carapaces seem kinda artificial.
Otherwise, keep up the good work!
which highlight do you mean?
the green markings?
Not meant as a highlight as such.. just some snassy bugmarkings or.. something like it
if you mean the blue shadows, they did get a bit harsh, theyre just straight asurmen blue wash, after all.
No other highlights than those..
Anyway, yes i do care a lot for them, they sorta become friends & family after pouring hours and happy thoughts into them, ya know..
And thank you for noticing!

Yes, I do mean the blue highlights... could probably be fixed with a quick layer of blue ink...
And no problem, simply noticing the amount of work you put in
You might thing about what a wash can do for you. If you can't find one that will let you hit the entire model, then spot washes. For example, a thrakka green wash over the green bits would bring out of the details nicely.
Errm, well no, not really , i'm ashamed to say, i really should get around to finish the warriors and zoanthrope..
Theyre still in primer
It's just that my chaos army has sucked up all my attention, and it doesnt look like its gonna let go of me for a while yet.
so, instead i give you..
(ignore the dwarf)
