Here some pictures i spoke off i managed to take last night.
I tryed a idea of like a armoured back as i thought it was empty looking so i added a shell/armour like feature since thats like one of the mutations from the warshrine so i was like cool idea to myself.
I also had the oringal idea of giving him a scythe but the one i had was way to small for my liking so i swaped it for a double handed axe from the black orks set.
Here is proberly my most converted unit i have ever done since collecting warhammer.
I had to do some side shots since you couldnt see the guy behind the champion.
I found it quite hard to make out the ranks of men so i decided to get some single ranks of the marauders they will look alot better after there painted however.
I really like how my marauder chieftain turned out after some inspirsation from warhammer online marauder character.
And finally for this update here are a quick picture of the colour scheme i plan to go for.
This one however i had a idea with but changed my mind to a more brighter colour scheme.
Any pointers or Advice and Comments on anything is welcome and Hopefully get my next date some time next week.

Morden! Great plan! I will be following this!
Very cool! I like the color scheme and the use of Tyranid and CSM bits. Rep for ye!
I hadn't seen the models first time around, i love the nid bits on the back, very cool, scaly chaos for the win.
It's just that your painting could use some work, are you using enough water with your paint? And try highlighting / drybrushing!
Keep us posted mordie!
Thanks Zema, Tarnag for your comments. It still early days and I've been to buzy playing WAR online to make much progress .
The paint is still a wip the now once he is highlighted and Inked he should look alot better.
Here is a little more ideas i had for my WIP chosen from using black orcs set.
I am trying to him them a overweight look like nurgle warriors useally do but i tryed to build them abit of greenstuff neck and Wanna hear your comments and Ideas on how to improve them to look for chaosy/nurgley.
suberb idea. I fell hpwever the execution is way, way off.
The bloated necks you have constructed just look like they've been stuck on there and don't really flow with any part of the models.
To make it work a little better your going to need to come up with a concept for how the bloatedness (which isn't even a word) is sitting.
Here are a few ideas.
i) if the bloated necks are hanging over the armour your going to need to make it look like that by making it look like fat. Imagine a larger person (im talking weight) there belly doesn't bulge out and then go flat. It bulges out and then gently decreses in size until it reaches a normal point. I know that may not make sense but it does in my head...
ii) if the bloated necks are meant to have crushed through the armour (much like how I invision Nurgle) then show this with crushed piece of armour in an and around the neck area. This would tie the greenstuff in alot better.
Another small problem I have is the fact that if is the latter then would they really still be wearing helmets?
Other than these minor problems I love the idea! - It's brilliant!
Everyone seems to be starting a WoC army at the moment! I am as well and I'll be posting here.
http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...warhammer.html (BT's Chaos Project.. wait? Warhammer...)
Check it out I hope to have as interesting models and ideas as you.
Also WAR is my new addiction as well. but my uni has blocked it so I can now longer play it...
bummer.,.. but alas it was not meant to be.
I like your idea and the conversion you've made of the metalman is really nice.
The Orcs I find to be a very interesting concept but like BT said, they might need some more work.
I think you should try to move their heads down a bit, so their shoulders are above the head, that'd make them look more hulkering (is that a word?) and threatening.
You should also use way less Greenstuff at a time. While it is easy to work with it is in the same time easy to use it wrong. Try to work in layers, make some small details then let it cure 24 hours before you do the next layer/detail.
And of course they should wear helmets. That's (IMHO) what being a chaos warrior is all about. Getting one of the coolest helmets in the old world.
Being dedicated to Nurgle thogh, is not all about the helmet, it gives you the opportunity to wear your guts outside your belly. Nothing like a fancy dress of intestials if you ask me.
I'm in the progress of doing some on my Nurgle Marines. There should be a link in my sig. It's really quite simple to make and they do look quite good, if I may say so myself
As a way to get us, the new WoC players of Librarium. I have linked your Project within Mine! - hopefully this will get us to give each other some C&C.
This way it will allow us to keep tabs on each other and help each other when we have mental blocks, creative blocks... issues with painting.. and other such things that always seems to get on my nerves!
Thanks alot Andusciassus and Brother Tiberius for the very very helpful advice, I hope to put this i have learned in to practice very soon. It was very kind of you to do that with all WoC threads, I shall do the same as well then.
The helmet idea i think they wouldn't really be chosen if not off all or not some of them had them. I plan to some at least without helmets to make the unit of unique.
I have some update for my first warrior paint scheme i hoping to roll with so here a few pictures!
Let me know what you like or hate even of the idea. Its dirty and green as which i was going for.
Thanks again guys for your help.
