For those who havent seen my previous attempts at painting an army can see in my sig below.
I am currently going through my army to replace my current exisiting units, which i will be selling on ebay in the near future (links will be in my sig & in trading forum for those interested)
I just purchased some vallejo game colour paints to use along side my gw and also replacement models:
Firstly im going to finish my waywatchers over the weekend from my old scheme and post some pics
See you soon!
Those leaves are herbs, right? Am i right or am i right?! XD
The leaves are birch tree seed pods, i got them from skullcrafts webstore along with the static grass. I had some GW grass but that was really flat, so i invested in some stuff for basing, this new stuff i got is really nice
SKULLCRAFTS- ONLINE STORE - BASE SUPPLIES
The colour scheme, was more of a darky colour scheme, not any particular season, as my new one will be hopefully!
Im pretty impressed by the vallejo paints, combined with GW paints offers a nice colour range. Only downside to that box was the brushes, but that doesnt really matter because i use winsor & newton series 7 anyway.
You know, all this time ive had the wood elf book i havent actually read it all, i think im gonna sit down this weekend and read through it all, that should not only make for good reading but also help me inspire me with colouring schemes/themes
assembly of my archers & painting them, painting a noble on foot too
hooded heads of course, more mysterious that way! I dont think ill bother with any conversion work
