I'm excited to be painting this guy. I've looked forward to him for a while. He's gonna be special. And I'm gonna name him Earl. Earl Mudd, Destroyer of Legacies. Thanks, all, for the kind comments on the hounds. Damien, I used plastic sprue cuts for the crystals.

Looks like a tasty model, though since it's not primed or painted or anything, and I'm unfamiliar with the range itself (if it's not 40k, I don't know it so well!), it's difficult to make out any major details. Still, I can tell it's a nice sculpt, and I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do with it, David!

That is a nice mini David, one I have often been tempted to paint up myself. It oozes with character really. I look forward to seeing how you paint him. You get the little sign on his base with a crow/raven on it? I like that. Kuffy |

Uo. Amazing paintjob, nothing else to say. The hounds look particularly good, in my humble opinion. The bases are also great, I think they look very "Chaos wastes-ish". Yours is going to be a great looking army. Cheers ![]() P.S. rep to you |

Here he is so far. I'm somewhat happy, somewhat not. Had paint issues and couldn't use the greens I wanted. Had more problems from Woodstain Brown. That sent me in slightly different directions. Not my best work so far but overall I like it. Still have to do the staff's shaft, pouches, hooves, horns, and of course severed heads. I thought the fly on the shoulder plate might look cool with a crosshatched surface but it's rather meh. I'll try some washes over it and then repaint it if it still looks blah. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Any chance of some photos with a different colored background? Something about that green background makes it hard to make out the details in the model. I think he looks good, though slightly boring; nothing is popping out to look too different to the greens/yellows of the horse and robes. I wonder if I'm even making any sense... anyways, regardless, that green colour is great, I think it looks brilliant.

I love the horse, that skin tone looks really good for a diseased tone; or decaying. The green robes I like but they're a tad bright for my liking - I like my Nurgle to be dark and dirty. One point I feel I have to mention, is the scythe's haft being the same colour - or almost - as the robes. It blends in too much. I'd have done a brown tone, then used green to shade/wash. Kuffy |
