Hi, after a long time with out a brush in my hand (about two years). I started to paint again, starting of where I left. I have only painted flesh one time before, and that did only turn out ok, so any feedback is apritiated. I tried to use some different shades, like brown and terracotta.
Also the dark part of the armour is only base coated (right from the minis point of view). I going to try and paint it in a white like NMM, I don't really want it to look like chrome. I dont know if it will work or not...
Extreme close up, it reviles everything...
I will try to answer any questions the best I can.
Ooh, Confrontation. Nice. I think the flesh looks pretty good as it is now, and the eyes are really something. I'm awaiting more of this little model!
I just finish the front armour on the minis right side, other than that nothing has changed.
Im tying to paint the model to look like it have a light source from above, maybe slightly from the back so most of the armour you see in the second picture is in the shade.
Wow those elves are tiny! Looks great so far.
A few more hours and the back of the armour is painted.
I think I start on the pants next, but im not sure what colour im going to use for them.
Looking really nice, as always, and good to see you again!
I think a strong purple would look really great for the cloth areas, how about that?

I planed to paint the hod, the scarf around the neck and be twine the legs deep purple. (So the pants cant be that colour, good idee anyway...) Perhaps I let the purple colours change slowly to red as well.
I did a quick colour test on the legs, I know it is a bit messy at the moment, but I will fix that...
You took two years out and your painting like that??
How good were you before??!!
its looking great, I really love the muted colours on the clothing, you can almost see them shimmering, very very impressive.
