Welcome to Librarium Online!
Well this is my first post guys. I was inspired by Apocalypse Now to make a Vietnam style Imperial Guard army. With the new codex looming over the horizon like a Valkyrie with a full load of AP 3 death, I decided to paint a unit of old Kasrkin I had kicking about the place.
The inspiration is from pictures of GIs during the Vietnam war and especially the helmet graffiti. I think I may have gone a bit overboard with the 'armourffiti' they look like a supply clerks worst nightmare!
All in all the squad of 10 men took about 12 to 13 hours and features the most freehand I have ever done. It was a squad of a lot fo firsts as I was trying out new things with painting lenses and the armourffiti.
Sorry about the dead links for pics. Not sure what happened, then again never used photobucket before. Instead I give you guys the link to the Deviant Art page that has all of the stuff on it.

Let me know what you think guys, any tips on taking better pics would be welcome.

First things first, welcome to LO. We're a pretty friendly bunch here, so if you have any questions just fire away.
I can't see the images for some reason- how have you uploaded them? Are they links from a hosting site? Its a shame cause they sound pretty cool!
Those are some brilliant paint jobs you got there but the only critisism i have for you is to slow down when you free hand and try and get them as good as possible becuase at moment they look like a last minute job. Other then that, it looks great. AND by free hand i mean the text not the symbols those are faboulus.
They look very nice. I like the scheme because it is simple, but also very nice looking. Welcome to LO!
The Great Plague meets The Devourer of The Galaxy. What does that make us?
I can't see the pics.

Nice looking models, butI do agree with p0lak. Take a bit more time and then you got some even better models.
Very good though overall. + rep
I think they are very well done. You have used just the right amount of graffiti on them I think. The painting is very good. I had trouble posting images the first time I tried but Photobucket is good for it. Photobucket works by moving your mouse over the image and copying the one that says direct link. When posting here click on the thing that looks like a post card with mountains on it, a sign should appear on it saying insert image when your mouse moves over it. Use that to paste your image into your post.
Have some rep.
As the others have said, the only thing to improve there is the writing.Apart from that they look mighty fine to me.
The link doesn't seem to work for me? Welcome to the site!
It works fne for me now. What sort of error message are you getting?
