That looks like a lot of fun. I especially like the idea of making your own mascot doll too.

My Raptors have been banging on the inside of their miniature case for a while. I should probably go and rescue them from obscurity.

Your chaplain is awesome. The motion implicit in the pose has been executed brilliantly. You continue to inspire sir!

Thanks guys. It is a weird project and I wasn't too intersted at first but it turned into a really fun thing. I love working with sculpy whenever I can so it was a good excuse.

Here's a poor update. Night pictures never work out.

Got the base layers for the skin down, need a few more. He'll be a faceless guardsman, but I'll add some dirt and maybe some cuts if they don't look lame. Besides that I just need to finish up the helmet and add some mud. I'm thinking about making a giant 25mm base for him too. Oh yeah, and the gear.

In other news I started my secret santa project. I'll include some of the WIP here but the paint will stay secret until after the person gets it. I got a Chaos fan so I decided I'd try an Aspiring Champion with a powerfist. That makes sense right? Who doesn't use those.
So I raided my bits and dug out all the evil stuff. I started by making a shoulderpad out of a WFB marauder one and adding some chaos trim to some of my SM stuff. I'm not sure if I like that head. Doesn't seem cool enough for a champion guy.
