Well, Since getting into Warhammer I have so far painted ten skeletons and two and a half zombies, so I thought I might as well make an army log to keep track and to get advice. This is my first army and I'm not the best painter so be gentle with me X3
Heres my first ten Skeletons:

I've been advised to use a darker wash over the skeletons so will be doing that in the future to better define them. And for any interested, heres a little before and after. The left dwarf I painted as my first attempt at painting. The right one I did after finishing the ten skellies. Hopefully its a sign of improvement ^^.

Now my Zombies:

I'm happy with how they turned out, but advice and critique is welcomed. I think I did the gore good though! ^^. I know I have a long way to go for perfection but I do feel I'm gradually improving.
Oh and I got a great deal on ebay. A box of still on sprue direwolves, a stripped spirit host, a stripped banshee, two units of assembled skeletons one of which is already fully painted (Though to what standard I cant say yet) a copy of the current VC army book (Which will be going back up on ebay as I already have one.) and a bunch of VC and TK bitz (Including a skeleton chariot and spare corpse cart corpses of all things.) All for £21 including postage! So happy days when they arrive ^^!
Ontop of that I have still to paint the rest of the VC battalion box, a Konrad (I loved the model!). And an old OOP Wraith that should be arriving in a few days off ebay ^^ I'll try to keep this updated as I finish models, though I'm slow and often go days without having time to paint so dont expect a speedy army build.

Hi, Sorry the pictures are actually very VERY high rez. It seems this forum doesn't like to link to my image server. I'll edit and post direct links under every picture so you can see the full sized ones. Sorry about the issues, I didn't realize the problem at first.
Edit: Image Links Added below images in first post. Again Sorry for the issues.

Ok... the skeletons look good but make sure you keep them unified. the musiciam I see has red pants and such while evrything else is purple, Also paint the banner purple.
The dwarves look unfinished but the one on the right's beard is almost perfect!
The zombies look very good but you just need to finish off the leather and wood.
Keep at it.
Thanks for the feedback. I may redo the skellies to make them more unified and shaded at a later date but at the moment my main priority is getting a playable army built
Anyway, small update:

I like how your skeletons and wraiths look. That is a very interesting way to paint the zombies. They look like they were drowned to death. Is that what you were going for?
Partially yes. And partially because I'de seen so many brown zombies it was getting a little bit too repetitive for my taste. I much prefer the greenish drowned look.
