After a seriously long-ass wait, due to a group order and my strange schedule, I finally have my grubby paws on the Forgeworld Death Guard Terminator Upgrade kit.
These are seriously cool - this is the first stuff I have gotten from Forgeworld, and I know that there will be many more boxes coming from England in the future.
Anyway, here is the beginning of the squad, and the Thypus that is about 25% complete.
Finally, a use for this odball axe bit that I have had laying around for a very long time
I have a tradition of not using the 'real' termie H.Flamer -- this looks pretty cool, IMO
This guy has the new 'ventilated armpit' option, always a good idea with Nurgle...
Thypus, very WIP
Lokks great so far! I like the paint job on Typhus, Im sure the rest will turn out as well.
(WH40K) Dark Eldar - (12,000pts) Sisters of Battle - (5000pts) Dark Angels -(3500pts) (WHFB) Dark Elves - (10,000pts) Beastmen - (5000pts) Empire - (3000pts) Wood Elves - (1500pts)
Not that it's a bad idea, just that my entire chaos army has lots of loyalist pieces thrown into the mix. I mean they have to get replacement parts from somewhere.
Also, I rather like the idea that he has fallen from the Emperor's light and is being taken over by the putrescence of Nurgle... especially because he is not all the way gone yet...
Plus, the offending symbol is just terminator honors, which, if you think about it, he has!
One of these days I will get around to making some really nurgly conversions in the style of Anduscassius or _cadaver_ But that will happen only when my Emperor's Children army is done. This nurgle thing is really a distraction right now from painting black, pink, and purple.
I actually like that you left some Imperial symbols on your termies, mostly because my nurgle army is the same, but I'm looking forward to see these pretties painted up! Good work on Typhus, especially since its still WIP.
