I'm converting one of the 'normal' Daemon Prince models to be the 'brother' to the first. This on is going to be very slightly Nurgly, in contrast to the other one.

Have a look -

The bonesword from the Hive Tyrant, with a bit of hose to chaos it up.

The face of this prince is still unecided, other than I don't really want to use the normal one. So perhaps one of these bitz? The hoses would obviously be more blended in and such... Comments?

It looks cool, aero. The stunted carrion wings make it look like a nurglish cherub, scab-ridden and dying.

Even after a long, long yesterday, and the fact that it's a holiday here in the US (Independence Day - fireworks ! Hooray!!) I couldn't sleep in. (Years of getting up at 03:25 does that to you...)

Anyway, I made some good progress on the 2nd Prince. The greenstuff needs at least a day to cure, so I'm at a good stopping point right now.

The shoulder pads will go in next. I need to fit the one for his right arm a bit - the greenstuff around the wing is kinda in the way of the pad... easily fixed, but I have to wait for everything to become totally solid before I can get it done.

Both princes looks very good!
Although it loooks like you have already chosen a head for prince nr 2 I suggest you try the normal metal DP head. It might look cool with just one horn from the forehead and no horns at each side of the head. Like the head on nr 1 but not so bloated

You could even try with the original horns at each side but also one protruding from the forehead. That way you would get the symbol of Nurlge in the shape of the horns

OK! A little bit of paint has been put on the models, these are very WIP...

I'm not completely sold on the white trim on the 2nd prince, I will play with it and see what looks good... It's obviously way too bright right now. Also, I am probably going to put a hose/guitar in the mouth, to get rid of the 'light bulb' look.

Also a few glimpses of some special models for friendly games - Lightning Claw champs and a Plague Marine Apothecary (who really looks like Jim Cary's 'The Mask')

Looking VERY good!

For the armor trims you could try dwarf bronze with 1-2 coats of devlan mud washes. Thats what I use on my princes. You could try that, or boltgun metal with a wash of badab black, and then use a pice of foam and gently dab or 'paint' some scourched brown on to get that rusted feeling.

Anyway, that group picture looks like one big happy putrid family

Heres a picture of how the dwarf bronze variant looks on one of my troopers:

And heres the boltgun metal version, although lacking the badab black wash:

Edit: I'd give you rep for those good-looking princes but it seems I need to spread some around first
