What colors are you using for the paint chipping effect on the yellow?

Thanks mate, the skin is actually really deep in real life. The photos washed out the colours so it looks a bit flat. It's nearly black in the recesses of the skin.

Yeah mate, that is one of GW's best sculpts and is gonna be a treat to paint.

*It's Skull White
*Then Dark Flesh inside the skull white.
*Then boltgun metal.
*Extra highlight of Mithril Silver for larger areas.

Thanks mate, yeah. I really wanted o get a good yellow with these guys so a bit more effort was required than i'd like but it's totally worth it.

Small update, but i've added a banner to the warboss. It's from an ogre kingdoms model but i'm not sure which one exactly. What do you think?





I'm going to replace the plastic rod with some brass rod as it is way too flimsy. It's already broken a couple of times as you can see.

His guns got a cluster of rockets added for some extra dakka.




Maybe some wires out the back of the rockets?


A little conundrum I have is that im not sure what to do with the little energy source on the back pack.



I was planning on running some wires from it to other parts of the model but nowhere is suitable. Any suggestions would be great as i'm stuck.

I just took the banner off because the rod that was holding it up was really weak. So until I get some brass rod he's bannerless.

Another update here, slowly chugging along. These guys just arent seeming to get done.

Heres the trukk, i've replaced the boarding planks with side hatches, put a door on the back and made the teef' on the front bigger.













Everything is just basecoats at the moment.

The mek has got a kustom-burna now, just to stop those picky gitz whining on about WYSIWYG. Just base coats here aswell, except the copper is done. Let me know what you think.







The boyz are pretty much done, some pants and vests to do. Also a few little details I missed out on.
