'Ello you bunch of no good zoggers, 'eres ma warboss Snagrot. He's still awaiting a big gun, but the main build is done. Some wiring is left to do too.






This was really fun to make, and let me have a go at some converting. Still a bit to go now. I looted the Killa Kan leg idea from DKOKs warboss.
Any suggestions/comments/criticisms are very welcome.

Wowza!!! It sure does remind me of DKoK's orks. He truley is a beast! I think he should have some wires coming off of his head into his little body box thing, but I know you're not done. I see that you've used guitar string for some of the wires, I find that it doesen't work as well as making your own wires.

Giv 'im a weery big shoota so he's can blast sum 'umies up good like. Then ze dead boy will giv yaz sum repz!

Thanks mate,yeah, he is a beast. He's the size of a dreadnought at the moment. Hopefully even bigger when he gets his big zzappy gun. Im gonna be putting some more wires into his head soon. He's already got the holes drilled out. They're hard to see in the pics.

Plasticard is sooo useful. It's a bit hard to work with though. I'm still getting used to this converting stuff .

I found the guitar wire satisfactory for the time being. I'm too lazy to make my own wire Theres gonna be some more copper wire added along the guitar wires to make it look more beefy.

The reason that I don't use guitar strings is it doesn't hold much of it's texture under primer, basecoat, wash and by the time you get to highlights you can't see the ridges.

Well, heres another update. This time with a little bit of paint on the models!
I've started painting the boyz for my TOP entry, which I failed for this month but i'm determined to get them done for next months deadline

The skin, metals and bases are done and i've started working on the yellow.

I tried to give the metal a rusty look using some watered down browns and oranges, I think it turned out quite well:



The warboss is next. Who needs an arm when you can have a Lazer! He's got a big Zzap gun instead of his fist.





Needs more wires and not sure about what to put under the zzap gun. A couple of assault cannons? Tau plasma rifles? Suggestions would be great.

Aaaaaaand the next model on the paint line. I didnt feel like converting the model at all, it's such a great sculpt so I thought i'd leave it as is.





I love the non-chalant look the mek has. Kinda like "Do wah e'va you like, i've got me a zoggin' huge force field."

That is some nice stuff you have going there sknight. If I may suggest a little more shading on the skin? Iv'e always been a huge fan of deep shading so mabey its just me. Otherwise the warboss looks great, however I dont know what the model under it is could you tell me
