Hey, I have recently started a Khorne Warrior army. The reason I started WoC is because they can have armies with low model count. After paint a lizardmen army with mainly batch painting techniques I felt like a change
So my 2,000 point WoC army will only have a total of 34 models in it. I plan to paint 1 model every week for the next 34 weeks. May spend more time on characters as they will be heavily converted. So the final army should look quite nice.
My main goal is to take this army to GT in 2010. The army is fully Khorne, yes that means no wizards.*shock horror*, and so will probably get battered in a competetive enviroment. I'm doing this since my Lizardmen I'm taking to GT this year are batch painted and very competetive, so wanted a change for next year.
I will be updating this thread through out the following year until my army is complete. Will be a while, but hopefully will be worth it in the end.
Onto the models.
I've started a unit of 10 Khorne warriors with additional hand weapons, after all Khorne does'nt believe in shields.
That's some very, very, VERY nice painting there. I really like the deep shading on the banner, and I think you have managed to pull off the red armour brilliant aswell.
Good luck with your army!
PS. http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=190152 This link leads to a Mono-Khorné army that actually won the Dutch GT. Hopefully it will give you ideas and such for your own army.
