Welcome to Librarium Online!
I used to have a project log in here for my Death Guard, but as I lost alot of the pictures in it and alot of both setup and units has changed since then, so I made a new one. Its been a while since I started on the army, about 2-3 years ago, and sadly only a handful of models has been completed since then BUT, thats hopefully about to change. The army, and supporting BFG fleet is still mostly unpainted, in construction or halfway there. I've also got two other rather large projects going (see my signature), which takes alot of time. But anyway, to start off, heres a "nearly" done unit of terminators acting as bodyguards for Typhus, captain of the fleet. I've also thrown in some completed models in the form of a few escorts, some halfpainted spawns and tree traitor marines!
This thread is mostly to keep myself going as are both the other projects. I can only hope that some of you will find something useful here, or perhaps help me improve
Waffels to those who guess which chapters these traitors will be from!
Hmmm... let me see... Ultramarines and Imperial fists?Waffels to those who guess which chapters these traitors will be from!
Looking good so far, I don't think I saw your original thread so I will follow this one with great anticipation.
HAHAHAHAHA those waffles looked mighty tasty :d
The termies look awesome, love the colors and well painted. What are you going to do with the bases?
Also, how can you paint like that with syrup on your hands? skills I say!
Oh my god! Those nurgling minions of yours are just BEAUTIFUL and painted EXTREMELY well! I wish I could paint like you man!
Btw how is that Baneblade thingy coming along? I'm eager to see it finished
And its not only syrup, but as a Nurgle palyer I have to deal with pus and goo as well
I'm going to add just a layer of sand and drybrush it into an ash colour I think.
Everything you have seen thus far is not that hard to paint actually. Just do a layer of basecolour, perhaps drybrush some and then just use the gw washes until you are pleased. The spawn is even easier! Just prime them white, and use the gw washes heavily all over the model, mix to get transistions. Its really easy
The baneblade aka Plaguereaper have been sitting on my desk for 3 months now. With a titan and all the other things I haven't had the time for it
Hopefully I can get it finished before christmas though
And on the csm army front I've been working on a plastic version of Abbadon! The metal model is very nice, but compared to the plastic terminators its too small and kinda odd. So I've used the termie lord pack, lots of skulls from an vampire counts skeleton spure and the sword from the metal daemon prince to make this:
What do you think? Too big a sword, too small?
I'm going to add water effect to the front of the base, making it look like he's standing by a river og an ocean or something. I might do it like a lake of blood too, but I'm not so sure if it will look good. One gigant pain in the ass is the Talon of Horus. I've scavenged some csm left hand power fists and is in the process of converting it. Unfourtnatly I had already used the dual lightning claws on something else, which also come in the termi lord box. Well see how it turns out, otherwise I have to buy another lord box
Boo Chaos! Hsssssss *throws candies, hearts and glitter* Personally hate chaos, but the idea is ok... i guess haha Good stuff man, hurry and prime those, they are itching for some paint
