Tale of Painters Deadline Posting Thread, Fantasy - November 14th, 2009 Deadline

In this thread members who signed up for this project will be required to post each month - on the 14th of the month the following items:

• A picture of their commitment level (see rules) of miniatures that they have painted for the month's challenge
• A picture of the entire army that they have painted thus far.

In addition, members are allowed to post any fluff or list that they have selected to use or comments which they decide to post. They are also allowed to have their own WIP blogs, but still must post the images in this thread.

Follow this handy link to the rules and FAQ if you are unclear on what you need to do!

Starting this month, I'd like to get a total of the number of painted models from each participant. I won't post these or use them for any sort of scoring, but I think keeping track of the total number of actual models we paint would be very cool!

There's no such thing as a third Joker - if we who have no Jokers remaining don't post up our entries, we are kicked out! (We can still work on our armies, of course, but it won't be officially as part of the Tale of Painters project.)

Nice Love the rules, but it will be hard for some me-thinks who have already used up two Jokers... How many people usually finish the ToP?

My Tomb kings have been stolen, not a clue who though room at uni has been gone over pretty badly though.

All i have model wise now are about 500pts worth of dark elves. Would love to carry on and just build up the dark elf army. Should easily be able to reach the deadline for november. Guessing take it as I played both my jokers already as its a different army?

I'm afraid so. I'm terribly sorry to hear about the theft, and I hope you get them returned.

First to the finish! For one half at least...Empire's still not even started *gulp*. Here's Month 3's units:

3 Squig Herds (3 Squigs, 2 Gobbos each): 90

With the rest of the army, comes to 518 Pts.

Ok was touch and go this month with one thing and anouther but seeing the new mini's i got my bum in gear and painted the first 20 of clan skittiks clannies.

spent the first week working out a scheme I like.
Second week a clan name and a little fluff.
Third week on Hols...
Fouth week actually painting stuff!

Ok- as some of you may know I was pretty close to the line on this one. My last (of 11) exams was on the 11th and on the 13th I flew out for Africa. Currently I'm using a free wireless somewhere in Qatar. I fly for Zanzibar in about 5 hours.

This of course is insufficient to stop me ToPing. I took a couple of quick photos before I left the house and here they are-






About 35 Night Goblins. Some to top-up other units and the bulk of my general's body-guard.

I'll add more info when I'm not exhausted and feel like I have sandpaper in my eyes.
