So, after a long, 7 month break from the hobby, I am about to delve back into the painting side. My local shop was closed a few months back, so, no more gaming. 7 months ago, I would say I was a decent enough painter, as is to say, my stuff didn't look bad. Now, I want to go for gold. Basically starting anew, as I'm sure I've forgotten all my old techniques and such, and I want to be able to paint the way I wanted to 7 months ago, which is to almost Golden Demon standard. Anyway, enough rambling.
First off is mini decision. It's between Canis Wolfborn, Njal Stomcaller, and the standard Rune Priest.
I'll find an old mini to test on, and work with what I got. I have ~70 VGC and ~10 GW paints that are in good shape still, and about 10 brushes. I threw away ~70GW Paints and at least 12 brushes
I'll try and get an update soon. Any suggestions on which mini would be lovely.
Njal is a very cool mini, I would say go for him. And good luck with the painting. It always pains me to throw paints away like you did, but sometimes you just gotta

After such a period of time, GW paints just go to crap. This cannot be said for VGCs, obviously, as all mine are still in pristine condition. I have all the colors I need, which is about as good as it gets for how long they've been sitting there.
After work tonight, I'll find a suitable mini.
Don't expect updates everyday, as this is slightly towards the bottom of my things to do. I'm a WoW addict, and I raid with one of the top guilds in the US 20 hours a week (5days, 4hrs each day) and then between school, girlfriend, and life, this'll be a good challenge.
