These look sweet spammy! I love the crisis suit commander, one tip for dioramas is if you have eye contact with the two combatants it really enhances the realism. Unless of course his face is getting fried by plasma , in which case don't worry about it. Plasma rules! I mean, it insta-kills guard, and ignores marine armour! It's below 30 points as well!

I agree with -T, a little bit of blue in the recesses would liven it up alot, try a wash of asurmen blue, re-highlighed up to white, that wash kicks-ass.I think it may be the pictures, but the robes have been washed with asurmen, re-highlighted, washed with a light wash of shadow grey, and re highlighted again I assume it's the pictures Your painting is improving at a crazy rate. Keep up the good work mate. I wanna see more! Yay for improvement!

Nice work there Spammy. Very good painting on the Ethereal, and I like the skin. You've done the gold very well and the robes have a lot of texture. On the commander, the conversion is very good. Nice work on the plasma shot. You're very, very brave to use a guardsman in the conversion. Especially if I'm going to see it. It sets the Tau-bashing cogs going like crazy :p

I got some new pictures for you!

Nice work, this may just be the angle of the picture, but the commanders plasma stream looks like it isn't coming out of the gun straight, as I said it might just be the pic, and it isn't horribly off so it shouldn't be a problem anyways.

I think if you're going for a worn down battle damaged look you should probobly add a wash of brown or black (or a mix of the two) to your guys armour. Especially on the pathfinders who would be scouting and acting ahead of the main force.

Looks good. The colour scheme seems quite cartoony, but in a good way. It's probably just the blacklining but it look efectiv, don't get me wrong.

The commander looks very good now we can see what's going on.

I quite like the idea behind that Crisis Commander conversion. I'm not entirely sold on the pose, but I guess it's just a personal preference thing...

Also, what exactly did that white Devilfish run in to? It looks like it still has most of it splattered all over the front of the tank!

(I know you said you're going to strip it but sometimes against my better judgement I try and be funny. Occasionally it works...)

Lol! That's my original tau scheme, followed by green, purple, red again, black then white. I soaked the tank to remove the paint, and only scrubbed abit. It was interesting seeing all my different schemes come and go
