Welcome to Librarium Online!
After bout ten different paint scheme and twnty different theme I found one scheme that suits all of my fragmented MEQ models and united them into one army. I looked for a chapter that has only name, nothing else, and I went with the Angels Penitent. Actually it fits very well my jump infantry.
My goal is to finish the army, can say get it ready for tornament by the end of this year...
Here 5 pictures about what I have done so far (mainly try outs for the new scheme, but all of the modelling except some purity seals are done).
The pictures were made in sunny Scotland...
Actually the haircuts` top is flat because they have shaved head in the middle like the friars or monks used to have.

The DC (some of You will know them):
And some marines on foot:
So, what do You think?
I will appreciate every comment!
They look pretty decent - I like the wings, and you've got some pretty nifty conversions going on there.
Good luck finishing the army!
I really like the assault troops the best. Original idea and well executed! The colors are also cool too, love the scheme.
Just water down your paints a bit so they aren't too thick going on. Also some highlights would really boost the models.
Nice work man, very good.
I`ve decided to make those pictures, the sun was out (weird experience) and when I got that camera in my hand whoosh... no sunshine anymore!
But here we go, my jumpy marines ready for get their wings for Christmass:
The list is themed but not that competitve (who cares, it`s for fun, right?)
6 Veteran AM, 2PF, 2Meltagun *2
10 AM, 1 PF (or LC+Mbombs-not decided) *3
The bitz I used:
- Assault marines
- Space Marines
- Khorne berzerkers
- Terminator arms
- Nemesis force weapons
- Fantasy chaos marauders
- Catachan heads
- An old style raptor because I wanted to own one, no use of him in the list
They should have blonde hair but I am still rubbish with painting blonde hair (even after Kuffy`s tutorial), so they`ll be black haired. I tried to paint blonde on a few marines though...
I still have to add 1/2" GS in purity seals and holy scripts.
As You can see they were painted before, some very badly, that is what Lani Guy spotted as thick painting Basically they are overpainted in some parts. This and the "highlight issue" will be sorted with damaged armour. Hopefully.
They look somewhat eclectic at the moment, aside from the guys on the right.
I like the wing templates in the background. Nice to know how you're making them but it's somewhat spoiled the mystery!
