On to my next project, and this is a biggy. I was going to finish the Skaven Doomwheel tonight but decided to take a break from it and start the basic build of a Fortress of Redemption. Ever since I saw it in the Planet Strike book I wanted to do one. So here goes.
The first thing that struck me as I inspected the bits was the scale. This thing is MASSIVE. The GW official pics just don't do it justice. I'm going to have to get more lighting for the better pics towards the completion of this huge piece! ;-)
It's certainly a huge model. I almost got one myself. Painting scenery can be very different to painting normal figures and tanks, as there are loads of factors to consider. Anyway, I can't wait to see what you do with it, and I'm subscribed

I seen my mates completed the one to go on our table, it is absolutely huge. Takes up a table quarter on its own pretty much
My Arena Champions: Kharn'eth The Bloodcleaver and Gorzag Iron Jaw
I've been tempted to get one, and I think you may have sold me I can't wait to see how you paint it
Vampire Counts Progress Log [W:2 D:1 L:1]
I'm working on one as well but it will be Chaotic and will be known as the "Fortress of Damnation".
