Well, with my other SW commission taking far longer than anticipated I've had to make a start on this set of pieces as there is a definate deadline (looming) for the completion of this set. The brief is to have them done by Easter to the same standard as the ones I've done before.
So the first four were started today with the aim of getting some if not all of these done by the weekend.
Good luck with this dude. You appear to be a glutton for punishment, having so many projects on the go!
I always loved the SH Termies ever since they came out, makes me regret not getting a couple of boxes when they first came out D:.
Loving the look so far and after lurking in the shadows of your other threads, I know you will paint the stuffing out of these minis, you'e going to make someone very happy!
I still prefer that guy with the power sword as a Black Templar though..........all must bow before the maltese cross!
but seriously they are looking really rather nice already mate, now chop chop lets see some finished models!
Let me just say it's been really enjoyable watching all these commissions in progress. You are going to make some people VERY happy! What I like about these guys is that although their red armour is rather plain, the details make the model big time. I think you made good choices in including the green gem-like images, especially on the cloak, and in taking those cords blue where most people would have gone with something more bland. And the chevrons too, of course lol. From the sounds of it you haven't been taking very long to do these but you've managed to come up with techniques that look clean and really impressive! Kudos and rep, friend.
Honey badger don't care.
