Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hi all generals and painters,
I want to welcome you on my log, be free to comment and criticise my work, i will appreciate it. It will be also ine if you post some tips, hat would you do better or what do you like to see on my other models if you think it could fit to concept I started with hobby in Dec 2009 so I am newbie and currently I have finished my first unit and I am working on second. Pictures you will see here are of my future army, but I am trying to give them little bit better than standard tabletop, but with my skills it is hard to do that.
My army is Slaaneshi + Tzeentch only, so no Khorne or Nurgle models will be presented.
Basic concept is to paint armours with metallics toned in colours by washes and glazes and accesorries with gold. Core unit armours with tin bitz + colour shade, special and rare unit armours in silver + colour shade, champions armours in gold. Tzeentch are enchanted/iced blue, Slaanesh in liche/warlock purple.
I am planning to paint 2 or 3 units of chaos warriors, 3 units of hounds, 2 units of marauder horsmen, 2 units of knights, probably a few charriots or unit of chosen and maybe a hellcannon. Tzeentch sorceror lord on disc, 1 hero of tzeentch and one undivided sorceror themed to death. And probably more characters and units in future
I will also write some fluff about my army here, it will be in cursive so if you dont want to read it, just skip it
Host of Chromatic wastes
Far on the northern coast of Norse Peninsula three glassy towers pierce the black skies. This castle, amongst norsemen known as Icy cage, is made from destiled life essence of dead empire soldiers. Fortress is shining with its own pale light, seducing every soul in its presence.
Lord Xavier the White, Veteran General from Battle of Praag, was once the Bretonian noble and he rules the citadel together with his mistress Lady Atheen, the Everchanging Beauty. The citadel is a bastion of norsca Two-headed Swans tribe. Halls and altars in Icy cage are devoted to Slaanesh and Tzeentch, every wall marked with their symbols. Great armories and barracks are home for one of the most elite warband of the world. Every day in struggle and war, soldiers of swan tribe are nearly unbeatable in hand to hand combat, their skills are simillar to generals of other armies.
Swan norsemen raid the empire borders and collect souls of empire men to feed their essence warper. They enthrall youth ladies for harems of their lady. She, as a Queen of Hive, has its own quest, to ensure that dead warriors will be replaced by young blood.
#1 unit: Sixty-Sixth troop of Pleasure
Regiment of Pleasure is core infantry powers of Lord Xavier. Ragiment is divided into 66 troops, but sixty-sixth of them is one of the most important... All soldiers in this troop are sons of Atheen and their lieutenant, Prince Gilbert, is also son of Xavier. This unit is always on the pinpoint of the marching warband, singing choir of Pleasure which forces enemies to commit oneself to blades and hammers of 66th troop and let oneself to be smashed to death.

66th troop of Pleasure
Well this is currently my first unit I have ever made, so take it with an eye closed At all I like how the turned out, but I can say, that when I firstly painted tin bitz on them and see how horrible this colour looks if it is not coloured and darken, I was terrified...
In fact, this unit will need to paint a side of bases, because there are some paint spills. If you want, I can upload more pictures of them, but for today, there are just these three. I hope you will like them.

These are great for a first unit. Mines were a lot worse. My only comment would be that the fur on the shoulders is a little bit to bright and I find myself focusing on the shoulders instead of the head. Perhaps put it a little darker near the head (like the horns). The models still looks great.
Photos re overbrighted in fact, gold shoulder fur is not so bright, but I probably try to darken it around the head. Thank for comments.
This week I have started with first unit of knights marked Tzeentch. After some experiments with colour combinations, there is my first horse, only horseshoes and highlighting of leather belts need to be done, saddle will be not so visible under the rider.
