Hi all, I've been browsing (and occassionally posting) here for a while now, but I thought it was about time I got around to taking some pictures of my army and putting them up here.
Starting last summer I have been working on a scratch-built Praetorian army done up to look as colonial as I can without losing tanks etc. Below I have some pictures of what I've finished so far, but I have at least as much again in various states of completion.
This is everything I have painted laid out vaguely as an army, though obviously some squads aren't full and my russ is having its turret redone atm.
Platoon Command, eventually going to be 4 flamers.
The two infantry squads.
Veterans with gas masks, nice way of making them different but they look a little out of place.
The start of my zulu warriors (probably conscripts, but they could be anything really).
Company command, will eventually have a butler serving a glass of wine for the general.
This is the general style for all of my vehicles, to match the pith helmets and desert basing.
The exception: a Churchmera for my missionary-priest PBS (modelled but not painted). The window replacing the top hatch will be painted as stained glass.
My sentinels, converted from killa kans for that stocky feel rather than spindly chicken sentinels.
My general arranged with his personal waiter, lunch table and a painting of a conquest of planet Zulu.
Let me know what you think so far and I'll continue to keep you updated!
PS: Switched to links, as pictures weren't working.

The links don't seem to be working, for some reason or other. They're uploaded on this sight though, you can find them: here.
I think the Guardsmen look very good, I see the Cadian parts but where did you get the chest's/head's? They look really suitable for Praetorians. The Churchimera looks awesome and I can't wait to see that PBS squad
Thanks for the links Blood Blade, rep for your efforts!
I like what your doing with your Praetorians mate, they are really nice scratch builds. I would love to know how you did it, especially how you did the heads. I have some cavalry models I'd love to be able to add to my Praetorians!
Thanks for the comments guys, not sure what happened to the photos in the original post but rep for your help Blood Blade!
The torsos and helmets come from Wargames Factory's British firing line troops:
british firing line - zulu war
There's no real variation in the torsos but then there wouldn't be if I was using pure cadians either so I don't really worry about it. Best thing is that their pith helmets are hollow, so you can fairly easily put them over pretty much any GW head with a bit of cutting/filing.
Busy with exams at the moment, but I'll try and get up some pictures of works in progress.
Hey, being a moddly mod and having such powers I have fixed your thread. Thus, the images can now be seen in your post. I'm sure you won't mind.
Nice painting btw. It's nice to see an Imperial Guard army that isn't Cadian.
It's been a long time, but I have an update for you all. Added some extra pictures in the first thread.
In addition, I have more infantry finished now and my russ has a turret (with adjustable length cannon).
A very impressive little army there Knight with all the conversion work, must be taking you ages
GLORY TO THE DICE GODS!
